convey this to me until got an email from him on 10/5/2016, got a hold of the installer and put him in contact with Mr. [redacted], everything was installed and fixed to his liking (I have attached email saying so) by October 8, 2016. His request for $300 is not Warranted, he stated that om our contract it said, "that a discount is possible because under the validity of price area on the Contract it states if work is not completed in 30 days of signing, a discount adjustment is warranted." What our contract really says is that "The Contract price quoted on this document shall be valid (30) thirty days from the date of signing by the Customer. If work is not commenced within that time period for any reason whatsoever the company reserves the right to adjust the Contract price in accordance with the market conditions, the company shall not commence work until the customer Consents to the revised contract." which means if we have a Contract and the pricing of materials goes up prior to us ordering and installing and We cannot absorb the increase We have to go back to the customer and renegotiate the Contract,We didn't bill him in August either, we billed him when he emailed to complain about the caps. He paid the bill in full "pending adjustments" which there are none.Thank you for your time.

A good faith discount for the "admitted" delay would be justified.
