Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Dear Val:On January 11, 2017, you repaired a leak under my kitchen sink cabinetIn doing so, you had to remove a good (8) feet of counter top and the floor cabinetsWhen you removed the Corian Counter top, a large section of the one-piece counter was broken off, making the counter top unusable for re-installmentMy condominium insurance company came out, in addition to my separate homeowner’s insurance company and I was told by both company’s that the burden of replacement is the responsibility of the company that removed & damaged said counter.I had spoken to you on a few occasions regarding this matterYou had made it plain that you had to break it to remove said counter because you stated there were liquid nails substance or glue used to bond the counter to the lower cabinetsThis was not the caseIt was attached by a few finishing nails only(see photos) The restoration contractor & separate plumber (both) noticed the counter top condition and asked what happened? This was explained to themThey both pointed out that there was no glue or liquid nails used at any place used to secure said counter top to floor cabinetsAs matter of fact, photos were taken clearly showing no use of any king of an adhesiveThis shows you were erroneous in claiming the counter top was fixed to the cabinets by an adhesiveIt was also stated by several professionals, that you are responsible for this breakage and that’s what your insurance is for. There are FOUR photos enclosed showing the breakage and lack of any adhesive.I don’t wish to have this go through any litigation, but if necessary, I may have no choice. Please contact me at your earliest convenience, so we can settle this matter amicablyThank you, [redacted]

The service charge of $would be applied towards the repair if customer was to do the work, customer refused to pay service charge after finding out she would need to replace single system curb trapSince customer refused to perform the repair, we charge a service fee for coming out and
determining the problemIf customer went ahead with the repair service charge would be included in repair
