Affordable G. Nichols Paving Contractor

I contracted with Nichols to repave my exsiting driveway, add another SF of asphalt, wrap that in a stone block wall, and put in belguim block along both sides of the drivewayBuild a 12Xft pad with stone and wrap that in 6Xpressure treated postsA rather large and pricey job for residentalWhen the job was finished, Nichols came by for the balance and than said he needed an extra $for the extra 6Xposts he used without ever giving me a heads up but I paid it with no questionsTurns out the pad was feet short from what I asked for which was feetHe did return the next week to make it right but he had no problem asking me for more money because of extra posts when if fact it was the wrong size that was neededWithin months of the job the concrete border that holds in the belguim started to crack in several spotsI called Nichols about the problem and he said to call him back in the spring and he would come out to inspect itI did just that and he came out in April and said he would correct it and that he would come back in May when it's warmerMay came and went and I never saw him so I waited until July and called him again with no responseMy first thought was that this business is a bunch of "Gypsies" who go from town to town do a job, get paid and you never see them againTurns out that's just what I heard from other people on the street that also had dealings with GNichols
