Affordable Glass & Showers

I was looking for a glass repair company after the glass on one of my kitchen cabinet doors broke. The cabinet had two doors, so I needed someone to construct a matching sheet of glass and install that onto the right frame in order to match the existing (unbroken) left side. I contacted Albert after seeing favorable *** reviews online (which I now know are fake), and he assured me that he would be able to install a new sheet of glass that would match the existing one. Although I had contacted several companies, he was the only one who offered to send someone out the very next day to take a look at the cabinet.

I wrote a a detailed review on *** (***) with ample photo evidence, but given the character restriction here, I will try to summarize my complaints:

1. Albert made misleading claims about the difficulty of the repair job, as well as his own ability to execute on it.
2. Albert was difficult to communicate with once he received the deposit, and made up last minute excuses to delay the delivery of the product.
3. Albert did a TERRIBLE job of trying to repair the glass, and in the process caused significant damage to my existing door frame. These are one-of-a-kind frames that are going to be very, very difficult (and expensive!) to refurbish.
4. Worst of all, this is clearly not Albert's first time. He used to run another business called Prestige Glass and Windows Repairs (***). As you can see from the reviews here, he has made a living out of over-promising and under-delivering, and I would consider him a scam and fraud given that he clearly lacks the professional skill set to be in the glass repair business.

The reason I am filing this complaint is not only to share my experience, but also to make sure that Albert cannot continue to get away with ripping people off.
