I am rejecting this response because: *** *** was not present when the saleperson was speaking to me about the cart therefore, she cannot state the factsThe salesperson offered to replace the batteries at an additional charge of $to meIn parenthesis the company states "(which we offered to replace and refund at no cost to him, as I stated above)." This phrase is a contradiction of what they stated above because she mentioned, "We offered to replace the batteries at our cost."
When I first purchased the cart I made it very clear to the salesperson that the amount I paid total was the most I could affordI told him I would not be able to invest anymore than that if something were wrong with the golf cartHe assured me that I could charge it overnight and the battery would last all dayThe battery only lasted an hour and that was not all running time as they stateIt was nowhere near 10-miles as they state
I was only refunded a percentage of what I paid for the golf cart however I returned the cart in the same conditionIf I would have returned a portion of cart, which means I would have kept certain parts, then the company would consider that theftHow is it ok for them to provide me nothing but yet in three days they keep over $of my money. That is not good customer service when you take clients money and give them nothing in returnI am asking for the difference of my refund, nothing more, nothing less

In reference to the complaint about the refund to [redacted]. It is very unfortunate that he is disappointed we did not refund all of his money. The golf cart was sold to [redacted] for $1695.00 and he paid $139.84 in sales tax. The used golf cart was purchased on the 15th of April, 2014. He returned the golf cart on the 18th of April, 2014. The golf cart that [redacted] purchased was one off our trade in on a new one and [redacted], the sales person told him that the golf cart would be fine for his dad to drive to the mail box and short runs but, if [redacted] was driving it a great distance then the batteries probably would run down. We don't know how much he drove the golf cart. We offered to replace the batteries at our cost and install them at no cost to him, and he refused the offer. Remember this is a used golf cart and I am sure that if he had purchased it from An individual or [redacted] or any other golf cart company they would not have given him any kind of refund. The golf cart we sold him is a very nice clean cart and [redacted] said it runs for about one hour which is about 10 to 12 miles so it certainly should have made it to the mail box and back with no problem .We do not offer warranties on used golf carts. But I know that if there was a more serious problem with the golf cart and not just the battery, (which we offered to replace and install at no cost to him, as I said above),we would have given him a full refund. I feel like he was treated more than fair with the amount of money we did return to him because in the business side of this, there was no legal obligation that we had to return any of his money.
