Unfortunately, part of the complaint is true - we were there 6/and the unit was froze upMy tech apparently informed the H/O he would return on 7/because of weekend, but he failed to informthe office for scheduling until we heard from the warranty company after the holidayWe apologized for the error to the H/O, but were already booked for 7/and scheduled his call for first on 7/As for the charges, the H/O needed lbs R-at $per lb., - their warranty contract will pay $per lb., leaving $a lbI'm not sure where he has gotten the information concerning pricing, but it is offIf his system needed a different refrigerant, the price would have been within his expected price range.Once again, we can only apologize for the error on scheduling
On my first visit I found the circuit board to be defective - I had to return with the board and while there I did jump out the white and red connections on the circuit board bypassing the thermostat.Unfortunately, I made an error by forgetting to remove the jumper - this error will not cause the
furnace to blow up, but will keep heating which is what it didThe homeowner called me about it being so hotin the house and I directed him to remove the connected wire with an apologyThe furnace did not restart after and the husband called me again after which I made another trip to their home to find the pressure switch stickingI freed the switch and advised of what to do if it happened againHe called me a couple of days later saying it wouldn't start and I ordered the part.I received a message from the wife saying what this complaint was about - I was completely surprised by her not giving me the chance to repair the furnace with the part I had purchased. I do not believe there is any monies due for this call
Unfortunately, part of the complaint is true - we were there 6/30 and the unit was froze up. My tech apparently informed the H/O he would return on 7/3 because of weekend, but he failed to informthe office for scheduling until we heard from the warranty company after the holiday. the error to the H/O, but were already booked for 7/5 and scheduled his call for first on 7/6. As for the charges, the H/O needed 3 lbs R-22 at $114.00 per lb., - their warranty contract will pay $10.00 per lb., leaving $104.00 a lb. I'm not sure where he has gotten the information concerning pricing, but it is off. If his system needed a different refrigerant, the price would have been within his expected price range.Once again, we can only apologize for the error on scheduling.
