I am writing this review to WARN ALL SURROUNDING CAR BUYERS TO NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THE SO CALLED BUISNESS I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW ABOUT. I purchased a car from this business a week ago. The car was said to have nothing wrong with it besides the some of the doors not locking. I told the BUISNESS OWNER that I would be bringing the car to another mechanic to assure that there was nothing wring with the car. THE BUISNESS OWNER assured me I would be fully refunded my money if there was something wrong with the car. The mechanic that I brought the car to essentially said BRING THIS CAR BACK ASAP (DUE TO TRANSMISSION MALFUCTION). THE BUISNESS OWNER is a so called "mechanic" said the other mechanic was wrong and there was nothing wrong with the car. That same day THE BUISNESS OWNER "FIXED" the car in 45 minutes and assured me it was good to drive. While he was "FIXING" the car I began looking around at the other cars the BUISNESS OWNER offered for sale. Beginning not to trust that the vehicle was fixed I began to look at the other cars that were offered for sale, which was a major mistake on my behalf. I put a down payment on another car that day and then told the BUISNESS OWNER I was to return that upcoming Friday to make a final decision on what car I wanted. I WAS TOLD BY THE BUISNESS OWNER THAT TAX OF THE FIRST CAR WOULD NOT BE FORWARDED TO THE PRICE OF THE NEW CAR I HAD PUT A DOWN PAYMENT ON, WHY WOULD THE TAX NOT BE FORWARDED TO THE PRICE OF THE NEW CAR, WHICH COST SIGNIFICANTLY MORE THAN THE FIRST CAR. When Friday arrived I decided to not purchase either of the cars because OF THE FACT THAT THE BUISNESS OWNER LIED WHEN TELLING ME THE CAR HAD NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. I HAD LOST TRUST IN THE MAN AND THE BUISNESS THAT HE REPRESENTED. I told the BUISNESS OWNER THAT I wanted a full refund from the first car I purchased and he refused to do so and told me I needed to keep the first car or purchase the second car. After an extensive argument where the BUISNESS OWNER CALLED ME A LIAR TO MY FACE AND IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN MULTIPLE TIMES FOR PUTTING A DOWN PAYMENT ON THE SECOND CAR AND THEN NOT PURCHASING IT. WHY WOULD A DISTINGUISHED BUISNESS OWNER, WHO AIMS TO SERVE HIS CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT, DIGNITY AND TRUST, SELL ME A CAR WITH TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS AND THEN CALL ME A LIAR? I was shorted $600 of "HARD EARNED MONEY" I paid for the first car by THIS SO CALLED BUISNESS OWNER. IF YOU HAVE DECIDED THAT YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF, LIED TO, AND SOLD A CAR BY A SCAM ARTIST THEN FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR BUSINESS TO THE STATED ABOVE VEHICLE DEALERSHIP.

Review: I am paying 6,000 for a car that lasted 6 weeks and Affordable Imports will not repir it as it is over the 30 day warrenty. It is all repair work that is damaged over time not something we did in 6 weeks and was told by Owner/and wife that it is not for them to fix.Desired Settlement: Fix the car to reliable standards. If I am paying 6,000 for a vehicle I would love to be able to drive it.

Review: In February 2014 I went to Affordable Imports to purchase a vehicle because of a No Fault Accident I had due to weather a few days prior. Back in 2011 I purchased 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse from the same Dealer Ship and same sales person. So I returned a second time because a had a satisfactory experience with Affordable Imports the first time. The sales person was able to sell me a car at a affordable price, Suzuki Grand Vitara year 2000. The sale person said that his Dealership stands behind all the cars that are sold. Usually before purchasing a vehicle the dealership usually suppose to fix, repair, replace and adjust any problems with the vehicle and get it inspected. I did take a quick test drive with the sales person and the car drove smooth, and the only thing he told me was that the check engine light was on but he reset it. The check engine light is a emissions problem issue (Evap Code). He told me he will fix it and get the Evaporation Canister and another part replaced and fix. Some how before he sold me the car the Vehicle passed inspection with the Emissions Code existing. He told me the AC works, but it was hard to tell because it was cold and wintery outside at the time to really tell if the AC works, he assured me the car was good and AC was fine. Then I notice 2 other problems. The right head light was dim and the horn did not work. The wiring harness from the head light was corroded and melted. He gave a light bulb but that did not fix the problem. The interior lights do not function completely. There is a tremendous amount of rust under the vehicle but I was willing to live with that. With all these defects it still passed NYS inspection. I make monthly payments for this vehicle. I brought the vehicle back at a set date to have the horn and the Emissions problem fixed. The horn was fixed but the emissions was not. He reset the Check Engine Light and told it should not come on again but if does to bring back and he will have his mechanic fix it. So I brought the Suzuki back to him again at a set date and had my friend pick me up cause I had to leave the vehicle for the day. At the end of the day I went to pick up the vehicle and the Emissions problems was not fix because he told me that the diagnosis was a "Evap Canister leak", so the part had to be ordered and will be in by the end of the week. All this back and forth with the Dealer Ship happened between February and March which was in the 30 warranty also. I kept in contacted with him via text and 1 or 2 conversations over the phone. Until this very day of this complaint the Dealership has not fix the Evap Problem or reached out to me. Every time I text the dealership sales person he kept telling the part will be in next week together with a additional part for the Evap Canister. I had to fix the wiring harness for the head light, then the Y exhaust pipe was cracked and got worse, so I had to repair that, 2 break lines were leaking so I had to replace it, and now the AC does not work with is a $1200 at Firestone and maybe less at a different mechanic. One Mechanic told me it was the AC Evaporator so I replaced that, the AC still did not work cause now the Compressor is locking up and leaking causing the AC not to work, and smoke coming out of the compressor. I do not make much money and I made it clear to the dealer ship, and he played me. He kept stalling me till this very day. I am a EMT and volunteer Firemen. I serve the public and but my life on the line for the citizens of my community. As a EMT I do not make what I am worth, I live paycheck to paycheck. So I needed a reliable vehicle to get me back and forth to work and other places. I understand that a used vehicle comes with some problems here and there, but these problems are major, and the vehicle should have not pass NYS inspection, and the dealership should've had fix these issues and stood behind his Cars like he tells everyone. I also witness a customer returning a vehicle due to a engine leak that should had not been there, and that customers vehicle was more money then mines.Desired Settlement: I would like Affordable Imports to Repair all these major defects motion above, or refund me the money back that I spent to fix the issues with the vehicle. I want the Dealership to fix the Emissions problems. Also cause I need a vehicle for doctors, work and to pick my kids up, the dealership should lend me a loner or pay for a car rental for all the inconvenience.

The vehicle I am complaining about is a Blue 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara Limited 4WD 2.5 6V. Please help me in this matter.

Review: I pruchased a 2004 Nissan Maxima from this dealership and with in the 2 months of owning this vehicle it has gone back to them numerous times for repair between the coils (which caused a very bad misfire), intake manifold and thermostat and a sensor (that was promised to be fixed and still not fixed) and the most recent problem which is the motor is bad. I purchased a 60 day warranty and when I brought the car back to them they said I drove the car over 3k miles but each time I dropped my car off they had to drive the car to either to clear the codes for the check engine light and also back and forth to the mechanic. I'm also lead to believe the mechanic Affordal Imports used is not creditable or dependable because when my coil pack was installed it was not fixed correctly, and because of that Affordable had to bring my car to Nissan to get fixed and thats when it was discovered that it was not done correctly and they also discovered my intake manifold was broken due from the previous mechanic putting on and taking it off, Another example is on May 27th I dropped my car off to Affordable Imports to [redacted] due to my engine knocking and ticking he then said we will get it looked at, After having the car for about 10 min he called me and said the warranty I received through them would not cover it because I drove over 3k miles. [redacted] stated he would bring it to his mechanic and get it checked out after a week of having my car they determined it was the oil pump that went bad and it was a $1500 job. I took the vehicle to my mechanic and he told me it was not the oil pump it is the motor that is bad. I feel for me to own this car for not even the full 60 days the engine should not be bad I feel like I was sold a lemon and I'm stuck paying for a car that I can not driveDesired Settlement: The outcome I want out of this is to get my car fixed the right way and not from Affordable Imports
