Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 15, 2015/09/18) */ I have provided Mr [redacted] and his girlfriend, [redacted] with the services they paid me to doIn fact, I discounted their fees by $Ms [redacted] previously filed her action in Kern County and could not locate her ex husband to have him properly servedI made several attempts to locate and resolve the matter in Kern County for Ms [redacted] She informed me that she believed her husband was living in Tennessee but had no way to locate himWe agreed to file a Request to Dismiss the action in Kern County and start over in Fresno County I started over and prepared all the documents for the Fresno County MatterMs [redacted] was conflicted, knowing it would be impossible to locate her husband and serve him and didn't know which way to proceed in Fresno CountyI have numerous text messages and emails from Ms [redacted] I also informed the clients I had taken a position with an attorney for several months and would not be available to them during regular business hours; as I could no conduct my business while working as a w-employee for an attorneyI would often respond to MsDarby's text messages during my lunch hour In the meantime, Mr [redacted] took copies of his divorce documents and stated he would have his wife served in ComptonHe returned a signed Proof of Service to my office Mr [redacted] waited over days to contact me and schedule a time in which he could return to sign documents necessary to process the Default and enter a Judgment Ms [redacted] eventually decided she would file a Summary Judgment, meaning it was a "joint Petition" for dissolution which requires a valid signature by both partiesShe returned to my office with a signed joint petitionI have no way of knowing who signed the Petition but I filed the documents for her at her direction which is all I can doThe court entered her judgment on May 20th, well before the parties filed this complaint with the Revdex.comHer marital status is set to terminate on 10/16/ I filed Mr***'s Default Judgment on or about the end of MayI had no way of controlling or knowing how long the court would take to process his judgment The parties claims that they scheduled and had plans to marry in August and questioned why his judgment was not yet doneI did what I could to locate the judgment within the family law department; but found it odd that they would make plans to marry before even Ms [redacted] marital status ended Mr***'s judgment documents were finally located after many calls and emails to family law department and it too has been processedHis marital status termination date is set for September This complaint is punitive and has no foundation [redacted] Legal Document Assistant & Contract Paralegal Affordable Legal Document Services

I previously provided a refund to Ms*** in December of in the amount of $I did the work for which she paidHowever, there was a jurisdictional issue with her filing and she was going to need to
file her case in a different jurisdictionI agreed to refund Ms*** half of the fees she paid and did soI have also provided Ms*** with a copy of the check image obtained from my banking institutionI emailed her on April 7th, and received no response from herI believe that Ms*** did in fact cash the check and since I never received a response to my email, she agrees that she was in fact refunded as we had previously agreed

Ms*** sent me a text message after reviewing my responseShe said she was not the individual who cashed the check I mailed in DecemberI informed her that if she was not the individual who cashed the check I mailed that I would move forward with a fraud complaint with my bankIn the meantime, in good faith and under the condition that she was not the individual who cashed the check, I offered to send the refund a second time
I have been advised by the bank to file a police report with the Fresno Police Department to report the crime, as this is necessary for the bank to commence with their investigation

I made several attempts to locate and resolve the matter in Kern County for Ms. [redacted] She informed me that she believed her husband was living in Tennessee but had no way to locate him. We agreed to file a Request to Dismiss the action in Kern County and start over in Fresno County.
I started over and prepared all the documents for the Fresno County Matter. Ms. [redacted] was conflicted, knowing it would be impossible to locate her husband and serve him and didn't know which way to proceed in Fresno County. I have numerous text messages and emails from Ms. [redacted] I also informed the clients I had taken a position with an attorney for several months and would not be available to them during regular business hours; as I could no conduct my business while working as a w-2 employee for an attorney. I would often respond to Ms. Darby's text messages during my lunch hour.
In the meantime, Mr. [redacted] took copies of his divorce documents and stated he would have his wife served in Compton. He returned a signed Proof of Service to my office.
Mr. [redacted] waited over 30 days to contact me and schedule a time in which he could return to sign documents necessary to process the Default and enter a Judgment.
Ms. [redacted] eventually decided she would file a Summary Judgment, meaning it was a "joint Petition" for dissolution which requires a valid signature by both parties.
