Review: We got our new house painted by APC-homes Inc between 3/4/2013 and 3/6/2013. When the job was completed we were not living in the property, so we found the paint good after a superficial look, made the payment instantly and wrote a good review about the business on [redacted]) website. However, after we moved in, we have kept noticing unpainted areas, badly repaired areas, brush marks and so on. The most important of all was that when we asked for the receipts of the paint, the company stopped contacting us. So, we are concerned that the painters did not use the paint (Sherwin Williams Zero VOC) that was on our contract. Here is a summary of our complaints in a more detailed and timely manner:

1) Before the job was started, the initial proposal excluded something we had already agreed on verbally. As we asked, they updated the proposal in the way we had agreed.

2) The company president promised to provide the receipts of all the paint that was purchased until the job was finished. After the job was completed, he initially said that he is going to send the receipts a week later since the painter went on holiday. We asked for the receipts again a month later,he apologized and said that he had an accident, so we kept waiting. Lastly, we sent him two e-mails to ask whether he could give us a date when he would be able to reply he didn't answer. So, we have already waited for the receipts or an estimated date for nearly two months.

3) While we asked for the receipts we notified the company president about our dissatisfaction for the quality of the job and asked for an inspection by him. He didn't answer.

Before we purchased their service, we trusted this business as it has Revdex.com accreditation. We are hoping that Revdex.com will solve this issue.Desired Settlement: Refund or addressing the issues mentioned in the complaint form

I am rejecting this response because the business owner prefers to falsify our story without providing any satisfactory evidence. Instead, the receipt, he always delayed sending to us, supports our claim that inadequate painting was done. Additionally, he does not offer any solution to the problem. I wholeheartedly trust Revdex.com in solving this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:

That response is totally false.. It does not reflect any of the actual conversations between these two parties. He repeatedly makes false statements and accusations I had already answered in my previous two emails. [redacted] came to the house and accepted the fault. Suggested repainting with an additional coat and appologized. We first asked for the refund but since they rejected and were instead offering a solution by re-painting the house, we said we would agree that soulution but now with a response full of untrue statements they show their real attitude. They made us wait for 2 weeks after we accepted their re-painting offer. We had to call them at least three times to arrange the repainting they had agreed. However what George says at the end of that two weeks is that [redacted] has financial difficulties and is still thinking about it. I assume a proper company does not depend their terms of warranty (3 year warranty is offered by APC) by the financial status of a painter. These people have disappointed me totally and have been wasting my time with untrue statements and accusations. I agree they did the job for a discounted price. However this does not mean that they should not honor the terms of contract and/or warranty. Therefore I totally reject the response. These people neither painted my house properly, nor willing to repaint as they suggested. I believe Revdex.com exists to protect costumers from improperly working companies like this one. I am happy to show the house to inspectors that Revdex.com would assign. I can prove that those areas are not properly painted (mostly not painted at all) and or not properly repaired Besides I can also prove that the job can not be completed with the amount of paint they used ( according to the paint receipts from the shop they could show).

Additionally his delay in responding the complaint is a true sign of his lack of interest for a solution. He says he was away but I can ensure you he has been here at least for the last three weeks and only when we said we were going to escalate this matter to Revdex.com and wrote the email then he decided to reply (with this totally false response) probably considering the reputation of the company.

Before hiring the job I got 5 more offers and they were within $200 dollar range from his offer. His was not the lowest as well (second lowest after negotiation) He repeatedly told us that his company is a Revdex.com acreditted A+ bussiness and this played a major role for us to make a decision. We believed the Revdex.com accreditation and now we have been mistreated, our time has been wasted and our house does not look nice.

Therefore, I trust Revdex.com would do what is required to prevent the public from being mistreated like I have been
