Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2015/07/30) */ On 7/8/I responded to a service call at [redacted] Hillcrest [redacted] Ca XXXXXThe reported problem was a toilet stoppageI quoted the customer $to clear the toilet with my toilet AugerThe customer accepted my price and I began to attempt to clear the stoppageAfter three attempts with the Auger, it was obvious there was a hard blockage in the toiletI informed the customer that the next option was for me to remove the toilet, take it outside and try to clear it with the hoseThe rice quoted for this service was $and the customer agreed and I proceeded to do the serviceAfter flushing the toilet with a water hose, a large orange block ( a children's toy) emerged from the toiletThe customer became visibly upsetI then reinstalled the toilet and ensured it was in operating conditionThe toilet flushed fineI then called thecustomer into the restroom and had him flush the toiletAt the time, we discussed warranty and I informed him that there was no warranty offered for toilet stoppages of any kind, especially when we find the cause is from customer misuse, I then offered the customer a courtesy service of a sewer camera inspectionAfter locating problems in the sewer line, I provided a quote and the customer declined any additional work, I packed up and completed my paperworkThe invoice provided to the customer clearly states NO WARRANTY as does all paperwork for similar service callsThere was no warranty provided to the customer [redacted] to issue being children's toy being dropped into the toiletI read the customer the invoice, explained there was no warranty and asked for required signaturesHe paid with a check and left the service callThe warranty was verbally disclosed twiceDespite the warranty being explained, He called the next day with the same issueAffordable' Plumbing tried to work with him in offering a discounted price for service but the customer refusedWe can not be held responsible where no warranty due to neglect was offered [redacted]

began to attempt to clear the stoppage. After three attempts with the Auger, it was obvious there was a hard blockage in the toilet. I informed the customer that the next option was for me to remove the toilet, take it outside and try to clear it with the hose. The rice quoted for this service was $250 and the customer agreed and I proceeded to do the service. After flushing the toilet with a water hose, a large orange block ( a children's toy) emerged from the toilet. The customer became visibly upset. I then reinstalled the toilet and ensured it was in operating condition. The toilet flushed fine. I then called the. customer into the restroom and had him flush the toilet. At the time, we discussed warranty and I informed him that there was no warranty offered for toilet stoppages of any kind, especially when we find the cause is from customer misuse,
