I was extremely please with Ben Thomas from Affordable Plumbing , Rooter and Water Heaters They were available minutes early, but happy to wait for me Isn't that amazing! Ready early but happy to wait Instead of oh, we are sorry but we are running behind, we will be there in about hours Hey man these guys are great Ben told me what he was going to do and what it was going to cost (rooting my main drain and replacing the insides of my main bath room toilet) There was no ringing of hands like other it plumbers spouting off on and talking about jack hammering the floor of your kitchen, Affordable Plumbing, Ben, just got it all done in less than an hourAnd the price was great What Ben did was about days ago and everything is just fineDave Capco

This guy, Curtis ***, from Affordable Plumbing, Rooter & Water Heater did not delivered and performed an honest opinion about my water heaterHe tried installing my water heater then on the last minute, he told me that I do not have a ground wire for my water heater so he can not turn on my water heaterHe told me this information after he hauled away my old water heater that still works just fine (I want to replace it for prevention of water leaks) and after reattaching my kitchen closet door and moldingHe also told me that my kitchen faucet is not working because of the water heater that he was trying to installHe told me all these information on the last minute when I am about to get ready for my work in the afternoonI was waiting on him to get it done so I can take a shower before going to workWhat would you do in this situation? How would you feel after waiting and on the last minute, he told you he can not turn on the water heater because of the liability issue? He also told me that I should be glad that these issues were brought to my attention so I can work on itIsn't he supposed to tell me this while he was hauling away my old water heater and before he replaced it with a new one? Great! Now I can not use my water heater and take a shower and my kitchen faucet needs to be replace because he was trying so hard to install my water heaterThis happened in Saturday morningI called a licensed electrician and he was not able to show up until the second day which is Monday because he was working on his other customersThe electrician found out that I needed a new electrical panel and a water heater conduit connection is amounted to $2800+And I replaced my kitchen faucet for $So what would you do in this situation? I called back and spoke with Ron, and he said they do not store old water heater unit and said,"what would you have me do?"

Curtis was out here on Saturday July 21, I received a text message that he was on his way He arrived mintues early We went down to the HOA Women's restrooms at the pool He told me the possible options and possible costs He went to work and minute later he was done He did what the HOA's licencsed, bonded, insured (ROC certified) handyman could not do and he did it in minutes I was greatly impressed and recommend this company*** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** * ***

Curtis showed up exactly on time Suggested a few pre-tests to be sure that we were not having a job done that would not fix the problem He then installed a pressure pump system to replace the year old original one that came with the house Best water pressure I have felt since we bought the house years ago Price was reasonable Service was performed quickly and cleanly Excellent all the way!

Our home had a water leak, and affordable plumbing was contacted to repair the leakBen the plumber was in the attic, my year old daughter was homeI was running errands so during the process of the repairs Ben contacted me via cell phone letting me know prices and problems he sawWhen Ben came down from the attic he said to my daughter, there were some wires sparking up there so I put some water on them with the wet insulation , you may want to have that checked out, then Ben leftHe did not call me, or the fire department, or turn off the breakerWhen I arrived home,I smelled smoke, upon looking in the attic and seeing smoke, I contacted the fire departmentThey spent several hour putting out the fire,when I contacted the owner Ron of Affordable plumbing he was apologetic,and said to let him know if there was anything we neededWe had to be in a hotel for weeks during the repairs and over months before it was fully completedI contacted Ron to request reimbursement of

Technician noticed it was apparent the wire had been walked on previously as the wire was "creased" at each point where it laid on top of the steel bracketsIn order to make the repairs to the plumbing pipe, he needed to lift and move the wire to gain access to the pipe, when he did this the wire began arcingAt that point, he put electrical tape over the affected area of the wire, and then instructed Mrs***'s daughter that the wire needed the attention of an electrician.Our opinion is this was a pre-existing condition, and that our Technician is not the one who caused the issue, but rather he just exposed an issue that would have certainly revealed itself at some pointI certainly feel bad for the family, however the wire was already damaged before we arrived, and we shouldn't be responsible for damage caused by an electric wire that, more than likely, was installed incorrectly, and had been damaged before we ever arrived at the houseI never blamed Mrs*** for using an unlicensed contractor, as I recall from our conversation, she recently purchased the house and probably wasn't responsible for the installation of the wireI Also stated that I would have thought a home inspection would have noted the wire was a hazard during the purchase of the homeFor these reasons, I do not feel it is our responsibility for the situation.In addition, I have never received any demand letter from an attorneyI'm not sure where the letter was mailed, but it certainly wasn't mailed to our office or our P.OBox.Thank you, Affordable Plumbing

Excellent experience! I used Affordable Plumbing to fix a hard to find leak and to repair some faucets in my kitchen and bathroom. Their representative showed up on time and did the work very efficiently. Throughout the project he was professional and quite knowledgeable about why we were seeing the leak we saw.

What I especially appreciated is that he respected my wife and I enough to tell us when he did not know the answer to something rather than try to bluff his way through an answer.

He and his scheduler were also very pleasant to speak with before, during and after the repairs. I would use Affordable again and have recommended them to my friends.

Bought an older home in repo, had affordable come and check out the plumbing, he gave me all the things importantn to correct now and what could wait for awhile. EXTREMELY HONEST CONTRACTOR...few and far between in these days. Also AFFORDABLE, just like the name said. Number 1 in my book forever.

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. The price quoted was the actual installation price. The installation was fast and professional. Would recommend this company for installation of hot water heaters.
