In respond to the company reply,I am not questioning the whole jobI do love the work that was done driveway and steps, before *** and his crew Demolish my garage it was against the Hill so I told him to move it up feet away from the hillThat way I didn't need a retaining wall the inspector agree with me, now we did say that it would be nice to have a wall for security purposeThe work I had done was on the City Point of sale so I didn't need a RETAINING wall if so I would not had pass the inspection*** stated that his crew would come back and Fill the hole up that his crew create, his word " we will come back and back fill the hole and put seeds down" Before I contacted Revdex.com I made many calls to *** to come out after the winter It took months of calling, now it was his crew that cover the drain system that was already in place I had the inspector of South Euclid to come and talk a look, he told me to contact ***, the water was there because the snow and water had settle in the hole that was created by his crewI hire a contractor to come out and clear that area for the drain and to back fill the area, I now have my garage build and there is No problem with that back area*** need to own up to his mistake and do Treat customers the way he do, I am not going to bash his but he know what I talking aboutYes he do great work, don't make promises to get the JOBI am done with this my garage is up and I am happy nowP.SThe retaining wall was a recommendation not a requirement
Business responded to complaint:Mr..*** hired my company..to do a driveway,garage foundation,garage floor and front steps and stoop..job was inspected..everything passed all inspections,,and was a professional job..which mr.***..loved and paid me in full for..the problem,,arose when
mr.*** chose not to install a retaining wall with draintile,,behind garage wall...the rear of Mr *** garage..is at base of a hill..city of South euclid,,building inspectors,,stated he needed..retaining walls,,with draitile..to direct water run off,,from the hill..Mr ***..calls me..I come out..I inspected job..and found 2"off standing water,,and accross back wall of garage foundation..the excess water got trapped against foundation wallwinter camewater became frozen..and ice caused masonry to lift up..showed Mr *** excess water throughout back wall of foundation..told him I would not fix wall without installation of retaining walls and draintile..and haven't heard anything else from him..if mr.*** puts,in retaining wall and draintile..like inspectors told him he needed to..than he would not of had any problems out work we completed for him
Company called (Larry H[redacted], Owner) stated this matter has been resolved. The consumer has been serviced with the concrete addition to the driveway and paid by the consumer. Job was completed on Thurs. 8/20 and paid by consumer on Sat. 8/22. Due to truck mechanical failures...
caused the delay, but kept in full contact with consumer.
