Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because it is falseClearly the business is trying to avoid taking responsibility for their errorsThe paint peeling off the walls is well away from the location of the leak that showed up the day that I hired the company to repair the roofI noticed this peeling in late winter/early springI noticed that the window doesn't open in late spring because this was the first time since the roof replacement that I needed to open the window.Leaving an incomplete job with a scored membrane over the drain (but without a drain installed) and without a cupper installed for the overflow is NOT CORRECT PRACTICEIn addition, before leaving the job site, the sub-contractors stated that rain was in the forecast but there was nothing to worry about because the membrane was onHowever, they did not state that if it rained, the water would be running off of the overhang over my front door (and running down to the foundation)I have experienced seepage from my foundation before, and wanted to prevent that from happeningThat is why I released the 1-2" of water sitting on my roof through the scored membrane. Please advise me of my options Sincerely, [redacted]
The leaking would never have happened if the homeowner had not gone up on the roof and cut through the membrane. The crew made sure that the roof was water-tight. And it was. Until the homeowner cut into the membranes. We cannot be responsible for the homeowners' poor judgement in this...

Any damage that that is showing up now would have showed up a long time ago if it was a result of the rainfall during the time that we were on site. Our installers did everything correct and according to industry standards. We had to repair the damage the homeowner did, which was incredibly irresponsible. Our crew was very vigilant that before leaving the site that it was water tight.
