Review: On April 2nd, 2014, Affordable Sewer & Drain was hired to camera the main sewer line for my duplex per a request of a plumber that had serviced the line the day before. During the service call, I asked for a video of the sewer line and was asked by the service person, if I had a flash drive to record the camering of the line. I provided a flash drive, and after the camering was completed, the service person handed me the flash drive back, left my residence and after I tried multiple times to view the video from the flash drive, I was unable to view video as promised. I called the office number and the office person who answered told me that there is a procedure for the camera equipment that needs to be followed or video will not be able to be viewed. She informed me that the service person wasn't familiar with the procedure and that they need to take the camera information out of the camera at the office and create a cd that they send out in the mail to me. It won't work the way the service person was trying to do it. I called the service person directly and told him I am unable to view the camera work, and I wanted him to give me a video of the line as he promised on the original service call. He said I would have to pay for him again to come back out and video again. I should have received an original viewable video on the first service call on April 2nd, 2014 as promised, but the service person assured me the original camera video wouldn't be a " clean " video and the video was unusable. I feel the video would have been very useful even if it wasn't a perfectly clean video. I need a video of that line to show other plumbers, excavators, etc. To hire someone else to come out, I would have to start all over again, so I agreed to a $75 one-hour charge only, for the service person to return to complete this work for the video. The service person requested I flush the line with 2 garden hoses for approx. 1.5 hours before the next camera/video. The service person returned on April 17th to camera the sewer line again & to provide a " clean " video. I had the line flushed per his request. He was in and out in less than an hour. After a few weeks went by, I did not receive a video in the mail as promised so I called his office and was told by the office person that they had a camera equipment software issue that wouldn't allow them to make the video. The office person said they were working on the solution and would send the video out, asap. I have not received a video as promised and it is now over 3 months. I had to take off work for both service calls and had also to flush the line on the 2nd service call with clean water at my expense. I would like to add that I have another property that this same service person worked on the sump pump line on about 2 years ago, and on that line he had to camera but he also provided a VHS video of the line as part of the service call. I would of been happy to receive a VHS video to view of the main sewer line. Customers need the ability to show others necessary to resolve any issues with the line and a video has to be the single most important element to be able to do that. Since I was mislead on the first service call, and Affordable Sewer & Drain is not providing a " clean " video per the 2nd call, I want a full refund of the original call of $225. Now I have to pay a professional sewer company that has professional camera equipment & video capabilities to come out and camera the line so I can get a video to show others necessary for opinion of the condition of the sewer line.Desired Settlement: Refund of $225.00
