Affordable Sweeps Chimney Service

Review: Verbal agreement by phone in early December 2014 was that first flue cleaned would be $130 and additional flues would be less. When flue was worked on (12/11/14), bill was $247 for that first flue. I was not allowed to use credit card but had to pay immediately with cash or check. Worker who demanded payment was a big hulk of a man covered in tattoos so I, being an elderly widow living alone, did not argue with him and gave him a check. He said I could call the owner and see if he would give me a reimbursement. I called the owner and he agreed I should have been charged the amount quoted on the phone ($130) since I was not told it would cost more for that flue. However, after promising me the rebate, and after I wrote him on 1/4/15, 1/30/15, and 2/19/15, I have received no response at all from him nor have I received the rebate of $117 (the difference between the amount quoted and the amount that was charged). His man did not do a thorough job and left a brush in the chimney. I had to hire another chimney company to remove the brush and finish cleaning out that flue. The owner lied to me. He is a dishonest person who is not interested in good customer service.Desired Settlement: I want the owner of the company to live up to his word and reimburse me the overcharge of $117 for the cleaning of the first flue.
