I will instruct my Store Manager to contact Mr [redacted] at the number we on file and issue the $plus tax credit that was previously offeredThe reason this refund was never provided to Mr [redacted] is due to the fact all previous offers were rejectedIf this is now a suitable resolution for the client we will get this started as soon as we hear the response

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
After I sent the vehicle to Jaguar dealership to repair, they told me what Affordable tires have been done to the vehicle is 'pointless' and 'it cause a lot more to fix what they (Affordable tires) have done'
In the attachment I have sent a report from Jaguar dealershipThe report states that some parts from the engineer is missing and they have to put extra labor to resemble the engineAccording to Jaguar dealership, this repair should cost less than $if Affordable tires hasn't dissemble my engine and lost some parts
As long as the reason for coolant leak, Affordable tires has printed me a copy of parts that need to be replaced, which is also in the attachmentAnd Affordable tires states that the damage is from Intake Manifold and it has to be replacedIronically, Jaguar dealership mechanics state the Intake Manifold is perfect to perform its service and it doesnt need to be replaced
I feel loathe by the dishonest business method from affordable tiresDue to their damage done to the vehicle and they are causing me extra money to repair, I am demanding Affordable tires to cover my repair cost which is $and refund my entire spend at Affordable tires.
Sincerely,*** ***

On 11/7, [redacted] dropped off his his 2010 Jaguar XF with a complaint of coolant loss/overheating. This initial diagnostic charge of 89.95 was approved by [redacted] and included a visual inspection, cooling system pressure test, and to scan the system for any related trouble codes that could assist us...

further. Upon testing, it was noticed by our technician that a coolant leak was evident underneath the intake manifold. The only way to pinpoint the cause of the leak would require removal of the intake manifold. Replacement of the intake manifold gaskets would be an additional requirement as the gaskets are not re-usable. This labor charge did not include the labor to re-install the intake manifold, only the removal. Our associate Keith then contacted [redacted] Monday, 11/10, at 4:10 pm to inform [redacted] of the additional amount of $224.48 in labor and $203.44 in parts to remove the intake manifold and determine the location of the leak and replace the gaskets. This labor cost would go towards any related repairs. [redacted] authorized this amount.
Upon removal of the intake manifold, we discovered that the oil cooler assembly was the cause of the leak. We also recommended replacement of the coolant hose connector and thermostat assembly as preventive maintenance and as a labor savings since the intake manifold would already be off. These additional repairs would amount to $1581.16. The total for the repairs at that time were $2099.11 + sales tax.  We also priced out a tail lamp assembly for the customer at $380.78 parts and labor. When we informed [redacted] of our testing results and estimate, he declined all the repairs. [redacted] understood based on our initial phone call the cost of the initial diagnostic and additional labor costs to remove the intake manifold, which he authorized.
[redacted] declined the option to re-install the intake manifold in which he could have driven the vehicle to dealership, due to the fact additional labor costs would be involved. [redacted] also instructed us to to put the uninstalled parts in his vehicle, as we left them out awaiting his instructions.
Although I disagree with most the accusations [redacted] has presented, and even though [redacted] authorized the total price we charged him, I feel that we provided poor customer service in a few different areas: We should never have offered to purchase the vehicle from [redacted], as this is against company policy. I also feel that we should have re-installed the intake manifold in order for the customer to drive the vehicle to service facility of his choosing. I feel we are a top notch service facility that prides itself on customer service, so in that circumstance the customer deserves the right to be upset. We will either credit [redacted] $427.92 + tax or we can provide the previous recommended repair at our cost of parts, which would be an additional $800.00.

I will instruct my Store Manager to contact Mr. [redacted] at the number we on file and issue the $427.92 plus tax credit that was previously offered. The reason this refund was never provided to Mr. [redacted] is due to the fact all previous offers were rejected. If this is now a suitable resolution for the client we will get this started as soon as we hear the response.
