Used tires come with a 30 day warranty for tire defects. All used tires are visually inspected and also placed in a water bath to check for leaks, before installed on a customers car.The tire warranty does not cover any damages cause by potholes, hitting curbs, and damages to tires caused in car accidents. This information is posted in the store.After inspecting Ms [redacted] tire by 2 of the tire mechanics it was determined the she likely hit a pot hole and this caused the damage to the tire.We offered a $5.00 or $10.00 discount on a new tire to the customer and Ms. [redacted] declined that offer. I want to be clear that Affordable tire has only very recently accepted liability in this matterI also have pictures this to prove as well as estimates that this was much larger than the size of a small coin’s worth of damageMy deductible is $and the low end estimate for this repair is just over $I had to contact the police because initially the company flat out refused to give me their insurance informationI did leave when I had the insurance information as well as my police reportI personally was the one who called as I was left no choiceAfter I contacted my insurance company they advised me to contact the policeI gave the police report as well as the insurance information to my insurance company as soon as I had itThey have been processing the claim sinceIt has now been almost days since the accident and they just finally accepted liability todayIt wasn’t till this report was filed that they gave me the correct company to contact for the claim to processBefore I took any further action as a courtesy I sent one text to the contact person at Affordable Tire advising her of the next steps I would be taking unless I was able to get the matter settled
As of today the issue is resolved and they have accepted liabilityI am still highly dissatisfied with their serviceFrom my perspective they withheld information as well as actively tried to avoid the resolution of this issueThey only finally took responsibility after I took further actions

Response to incident on 11/23/2016:An incident occurred on 11/23/at our valley location involving a vehicle that was very recently purchased from a regular customer who owns a car lot in the neighborhoodThe work being performed was for this car lot and we had no contact information other than
the car lot who sold it As we already had a contact name and phone number for the other party involved, and there was no damage to this car, this car left the premisis nor was it the other car owner involved in the incident, it was our employee We have accepted liabilty for this incident and offered to either fix it (as it was the aprroximate size of a large coin) or pay the amount needed to have it repaired The deductable for this incident will more than likely exceed the amount it will cost to repair the damage The insurance information was never denied to the customer There was however a transcription error when the insurance information was exchanged through the police (at this customers request) and this has delayed the insurance investigation The police were called for a hit and run reported by our customers boyfriend (who personally had nothing to do with the incident) When the police did arrive there was not enough damage to file an incident report nor did it qualify as a hit and run as our employe was there and accepting full responsibility for the incident It was then disregarded by the police and has been in the hands of insurance companies sinceAt this point I feel as though I have done all I can to try and resolve this in a civil mannerHowever, I have had to request that this person NOT contact me personally and only deal only with the involved insurance company due to the threatening and degrading content of these conversations
