The interior of my vehicle was damaged unnecessarily. The business has made no attempt to rectify the situation. I was over charged.
On July 6, 2020 my vehicle was transported via tow, to this business for repairs after it would not start. The agreement between one of the employees *** and myself, was that they would run diagnostic test to let me know what was wrong with the car. I was told that they did not do body work but would have a 'sister company" give a quote for the bumper and hood which were lose, yet operable, before the car went to the shop. I was assured that the "shop is big on customer service" and they would "take care of me like family". I did not receive any confirmation that they had received the car the first day, and had to reach out to them the second day (July 7) to check on the car. I was told, By *** "we will be checking the charging system in your car later today". I waited until the end of the third day (July 8) and reached out again after hearing nothing from them. I was then told by *** "we need to start with the alternator. my body shop guy is coming for an estimate tomorrow". I responded to that text by asking what he meant by "start with" and if he "had any idea when I might be rolling again". His response was " I will get you a price on alternator installed. I dont forsee anything beyond an alternator." He never responded to the second part of my question. The next time I heard from *** or the shop was July 16. I never received a quote for the alternator, the body repairs, or had any idea was happening with the car. I reached out via text (our usual communication) on July 11 to another associate of the company *** who recommended me to the shop, and he told me *** would be reaching out soon. I attempted to contact bill via text on July 12 and again on July 15. I also left a voice mail on July 15 and received no response. Finally, I called from my work number on July 17 and *** answered. Once he realized it was me he immediately said "you can come pick the car up tomorrow". I asked him what had been done to the car and if he could give me a price. He told me "it was very simple. It was just the battery and the" and that he would get me a price by the end of the day (July 16th). I heard nothing that day. The next morning I text him to confirm the address (already on my way) and he confirmed the address and told me my bill was $320 in cash and an additional $19.20 if I paid with a card. I felt like the price was high for a 5.6 mile tow and a battery change (which I would have done myself if I was told that was the issue), so I expressed my discontent with the price, especially considering the fact that he told me I'd be receiving a discounted "family rate".. He responded with "Do you know what an alternator would of cost"...implying that I had received a discount because replacing an alternator is expensive. However, as mentioned earlier, My alternator was not replaced at all. At that point, I believed he had forgotten our phone discussion where he explained that nothing was done to the alternator, and was trying to take advantage of me/justify his pricing. When I arrived at the garage, I immediately went to look at my car. I found by bumper was completely removed and stuffed inside my car stretching from the front passenger side, to the back driver side window. I found tears in the leather seats, door lining, and dashboard, as well as in the fabric roof lining. The tan interior of the car was stained with black debris and grease from the bumper. *** was not there but the technician asked me to pay $339.00. I immediately text bill expressing all of this to him and sending videos and pictures. He did not apologize even once. Out of desperation (I had to go to work and had wanted my car away from that shop) I paid the agreed $320, and drove to work. I did not make it even five minutes down the street before my hood started bouncing and lifting. The hood was damaged before the shop, but was secured and operable for the past year! I had to pull over at a gas station to secure it the best I could with tape andstring

Desired Outcome

Because I have still received no response or even an apology from the business (after two emails, and speaking to three different secretaries in an attempt to reach the business owners), I am seeking the following: 1. Repayment of the total $320.00 and an apology for the entire bad experience OR 2. a)The cost of a complete car detailing/cleaning ($100), b)re-upholstering of the seats, dashboard, ceiling ($500), and c)repayment for the travel expenses accrued over the excessive amount of time the business held my car ($120.14 receipt confirmations available) Total: $720.14 According to*** and the three secretaries I spoke to, the business owner (***) has been informed of the situation, yet I have received no response from him either.

They lost my Cadillac car keys and made copies of them and the radio or signal lights dont work.
On April 24, 2020 I spoke to *** from Affordable and had my 2008 Cadillac SRX towed to them to fix my transmission. My brother, *** who is a Master Mechanic with his own shop in Pensacola Florida spoke to *** and they agreed on fixing my vehicle with a Transmission that he ordered from Counselman Automotive Recycling, LLC in Spanish Fort, AL. The first transmission didn't work, so they said and they had another one sent to Affordable and they put it into my vehicle. They got paid from me and then again from the Warranty place who sent the other Transmission because they said that they worked on my vehicle twice. Somehow in the process of having my vehicle, they lost my Cadillac keys. When I went to pick up my vehicle, he couldn't tell me what happened to my keys. I was upset and he gave me 200 cash because he just wanted me to leave. While driving home, I tried to turn on the radio and the turning signal and nothing works. I called them and they said they don't know where my keys are or about the radio or the signal. I picked up my vehicle on May 16,2020 and called that day, but no answer because they were closed and I called them again that Monday, May 18, 2020 and that's when he said those things. Unhappy customer because who loses original car keys and now have another issue with my vehicle. Those things were working fine when I had my vehicle towed to them.

Desired Outcome

I want this business to be reported because I am left with another probels because of their Transmission repair. They became upset because I had my own parts sent there for repair. If they didnt want to do the job, they should have never agreed to do the work. I want my radio and signal blinkers repaired but I dont want them to do the work because they may mess up something else. I also want my Original keys back from my vehicle that I gave them when my vehicle was brought their. Repair shops need to stop taking advantage of women when they bring their cars for service work. If I was a men, this would of never happened.
