I had a big maple tree cut down in the backyard today & proud to say their prices are very reasonableThe guys were awesomeI found them to be very professional, friendly, & honest & very hard workersThey took the tree down in no time & cleaned it all up & hauled it awayFriends and family members asked who I used, I highly recommend themThey did a excellent job, very pleased with their work I would use them again if ever neededI'm glad I found them listed here Thanks SM

Joe Myrick, Thomas Dunn and the rest of their team were great! They came when they promised, did what they said they would do, and left my property completely clear of any limbs, leaves, etc During their work I asked them to complete some trimming of specific limbs They were very happy to do that and checked back with me to be sure the results were what I expected I would definitely call them again for any needs I may have in the future I think others would also be pleased with their work and their prices Thanks Joe, Thomas and team! Awesome job!

Joe Myrick and his crew were very professional from the estimate all the way through the job They know what they are doing when it comes to tree work They took down a foot sycamore at my home, completely roping it down, with no damage to my lawn or shrubs, they kept cleaning up as they went along and completely cleaned up afterwards, they did exactly what Joe said that they would do I would definitely call them back in again when I need any tree work and I would highly recommend them to anyone, great work, reasonable cost and superb customer service by all of the crew star service!

This tree service is very professional and what I asked them to do they did They not only cleaned up my property but pointed out things I could do to get rid of some poison ivy around the property They started the job time and finished before the planned end date Very reasonable prices, I would and have recommended this company to family, friends and coworkers

Affordable Tree Service, Inc cut down a large silver maple in my front yard and small hackberries in the back in September They came promptly to estimate the job and returned earlier than promised to perform the tree removal; the crew performed a professional, efficient and competent jobThey cut the trees, removed the cut wood and sawdust pile from grinding the large stump and cleaned the yard as promised in a timely fashionThe stump was ground as soon as the trees were cut and removedI would definitely call Joe Myrick, brother John and crew to do another job for me and would also recommend them to my friends and relatives

to secure payment of $50, he paid it months after the service was performed) , *** *** requested we send out a technician to evaluate a broken line under a walkway and give him a quote for a new system, as the existing system was quite oldOur tech came out and tried finding both ends of the broken line but was unsuccessfulHe took a look at the property for a proposal on a new system and reported that if *** *** wanted just the line fixed, our install crew would have to be the ones returning with our machine that has a boring attachment to go under the walk without any damage.While we were working on calling *** *** with the quotes, the weather broke that week and we were getting to calls per day*** *** being impatient, kept repeatedly calling, harassing us for a price and a date to return, with a nasty attitudeBased on this harassment to our staff and manager, we told *** *** to find another company to service his needsWe have no obligation to *** ***, he does not maintain a service contract with us and no money has exchanged handsWe are entitled to refuse business and we do not want to be subject to this customer's harassment and threatsAfter we refused his business, he continued to call us, threatening he is reporting us to every agency imaginable, and is going to create a website that he "hates Artys"He continued with calls asking for our fax number, then would call asking if we received his fax and asking when are we in the office so he can serve us with a lawsuit and what is Arty's last name etcYou can read in the review that he claims our office manager "needs medication"During all these phone calls, he NEVER mentioned once there was a leak or damage to his system because there was not damage caused by usWe simply did an evaluationHis system was inoperable from the beginning, this is why he asked us to look at it to begin withThis claim is an attempt to have us pay for repair to his system by making these claims because we are refusing his businessHis claim that we caused a leak and damage to his property is without merit and once we clear this matter up with your agency, we may have our lawyer proceed with a lawsuit against *** *** for slander and defamation of our good reputationHe even went as far as to put a complaint against our backflow license when we never even performed a backflow test at his houseAgain, another lieWe would appreciate dismissal of this complaint by your office

I have gone three times to go try to fix this for this lady.  Her chain link fence was a wreck before I even got there.  She got tickets for her dogs running loose.  She was trying to get a free fence.

6/1/16 Follow up to my complaint. The owner stated that I would give him a second chance to come and do the work they stated they would do per the contract. Just beware of the haphazard incomplete work you might receive.

DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY BEFORE THE WORK IS COMPLETE!!! I hired Affordable Tree Service for trimming, mulching and replace my rr ties around my flower beds. The so called owner, agreed to the work and selling himself, said he would never ask for money before completion. But he DID and I paid him 90% in good faith and he promised to come back to finish. He has been putting me off for weeks,giving excuses saying he is out of town (doing work in Dallas). I paid him $1000 (1-12-16) so he was paid well with $200 not complete. I would pay an addition $180 for full completion.Now my flower beds are bare, no mulch, no borders, my fence is broken(he promised to fix) and I never was able to approve what was done. Some details we talked about were not complete with the trimming. I finally said forget it which I'm sure he wanted to hear and I do not want to deal with deceptive businesses. He LIED and CHEATED me out of my money. I will never do business with Affordable Tree service again.

I contracted with Affordable Tree Service two times in the past year and a half. Both times the owner returned my call within one day of calling him and was at my home within a few days, even though I mentioned I had no time line,knowing how busy they might be during summer. They are prompt, professional and clean up everything. They are the most reasonable bid of all that I received.

Review: I was quoted a price from [redacted] for the pruning of one tree, the removal of another tree and the grinding of the remaining stump. This quote is in writing. The tree work was done on Monday, April 13th and I paid [redacted] $1250 in cash for his work. [redacted] told me that his brother-in-law would be in touch with me in the next couple days to grind the stump and I would pay his brother-in-law at the time he did the work. I was told it would be taken care of that week. When I had not heard anything by Thursday, I called [redacted]. I left a message indicating I was anxious to have the stump removed as I needed to line up the work for planting grass seed. I continued to call [redacted] back several times over the next week. He never answered my calls and each time I left a message asking for him or his brother in law to please contact me regarding the removal of the stump. I sent an email to [redacted]s wife as she is the one who sent me the contract. She responded that she would contact her brother (who was to grind the stump) and get back with me ASAP. That was over a week ago. I will not be able to find someone to perform this job at the same price as the price was based on the entire job of the tree work and the stump removal. I will now be paying considerably more to have this done than the price that [redacted] gave me. I cannot understand why none of my calls were returned and I have to believe [redacted] never planned to have the stump work done. I think this is very deceiving and a despicable way to handle business.Desired Settlement: I would like the work to be done and if it costs more than the amount [redacted] said it would be, I think he should pay the difference.
