My experience is frustrating over the amount time they have taken to fix my 2019 clipper over a month. Still not fix. It took me calling forest river manufacture get affordable truck and rev too contact me. They ignored my emails. I have lost all opportunity to u this trailer over the summer. Now I’m going to seek compensation. Two trips scheduled had to cancel. I’m done. I think they continuing change the name of the company. This place has been rev sales for years with different names. I have lived in Grants Pass for 34 yers and have work in health care for 29 years also served in the local guard unit. Since they refuse to contact me and fix the problems in a timely manner correctly. I’m going to start a campaign of social media.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:there was nothing stated to accept. I am forwarding a statement that has been followed up with a claim being filed with the Court.
On July 6th I signed a contract with Affordable Truck and RV for a 2000 Coleman Niagara Camp trailer. Same day I financed it thru RFCU. Purchase price was $5500.00 with a down payment of $1175.00 leaving the balance of $4402.00.

My nightmare begins on Friday July 10, 2015 when I drop my car off in the morning for a towing package. My son meets me @ Affordable and he wants to check out the camper. The night before a big storm swept thru Grants Pass and I really didn’t think too much about it until we saw the camper. The storm completely had the canvas thrown all about, all screens were unzipped, and the 2 beds are completely soaked, standing water on the floor, both tables and cushions.  I was sick. All the other campers were all closed up with no wind rain damage. We continued to look around and I noticed no SOLD sign posted and it wasn’t locked. Needless to say I was furious. I later texted Keith the salesperson and asked him if he was going into work. Told him what had happened and his response was “you’re not picking up til the 15th it will dry out”. I didn’t let it go and basically told him someone needs to get in there and clean it up. I never received a response back from him.
When I made the appointment for my car I was told they would need it for 4 hours. The salesperson scheduled it for that Friday. I called at 11:30 since I hadn’t heard from anyone and was told “they will call you when it’s done” in not a very nice tone. So I waited, and waited. I called again at 2:30 and again was told they would call me. Well now it’s five I’m off work and I still don’t know if I’m going to have a car. Get a ride over there only to find that the service dept. is closed and most people have gone home. I wandered towards the back and came across a fella that I thought was the owner and he informs everyone has gone home. I get a little upset and loud and pretty much tell him that so far my experience with this business has been a mistake. I explained the camper situation from that morning; I tried to explain the situation with the car and in comes Rusty (service manager?) He explains that my car is done that he just finished it and he did it as a favor since it wasn’t scheduled for that day. I showed him the paperwork that it was scheduled and the camper was due for pick up on the 15th.  And again the three of us went over the camper ordeal. They both assured me that it would be perfect, almost new when I come to pick it up. The older gentleman even went as far to say “whatever it takes to make it right” and offered to buy me dinner…..I thought ok I got their attention. It all seemed so sincere. Until……
My brother in law made a trip down to the lot on Saturday (July 11th) to check things out only to find the camper in the same condition it was Friday morning expect now it has a SOLD sign in it. Still open still sitting on the lot with all the others and still wet.
Monday July 13th I went and looked myself and yes it was still out there still wet they hadn’t even pulled the canvas back to help dry out (not that it would but….)Remember I’m supposed to pick this thing up on Wednesday the 15th and its Monday before and nothing has changed. So I texted the salesperson told him that I no longer wanted it. It is not in the same condition it was a week ago. His response “I will see you on Wednesday and I think the trailer is yours” I still couldn’t leave it alone.

Tuesday July 14th I stopped in on my lunch hour. The camper is now moved into the bay, beds are still in it and yes still wet, canvas has not been pulled up and so there is still standing water on it.  I ask that some page the salesperson. He does not respond. I was there probably about 20 minutes and left.
Wednesday the big pick up day. Suppose to do a walk thru, master putting it up and down. Hooking it up to the car the whole deal. I took off 2 hours to do this. I showed up. Camper is still in the bay. A cleaning gal is cleaning it. Beds are still wet, one bed has ruffles in it if that makes any sense (it’s not flat) tables have bubbles from sitting in water. Salesperson nowhere around. Again did not answer page. I went and found the older gentleman from the week before (that had made all the promises) somehow today it’s not his problem. Told me I would have to talk with Cole the general manager but he wasn’t in and didn’t know when he would be in. Spoke again with the Rusty service manager. He tries to convince me that it’s perfect. Nothing wrong with it.  That the beds aren’t wet. They are damp because of the cleaning lady spraying something on them. His quote-“there is nothing wrong with this camper; I would take it out in a heartbeat” Argued with me the whole time. I told him that the camper is no longer in the condition it was when I signed the contract and I no longer wanted it and to have Cole call me.

Well Cole calls me wants to know what is going on why I don’t want the camper. He tells me “well I’m sorry to hear that but you have a contract, it’s your camper” Tried to explain myside and he really just got nasty with me. Threatened me. Told Me I had some other motive for not wanting the camper. At this point I told him I would seek advice from my attorney and it was like I hit a sore spot or something. IN a loud angry tone told me “want to get an atty-well here’s the name of my atty and I got to tell you we have buyers like you that think you want something and then change your mind and we don’t lose these cases so if you want to waste your money, tie up your time in court go ahead, contact your attorney”

After his big blow up he suggests I come down and see him face to face because really he’s the nicest man you will ever met-his words not mine!. Thought maybe if I didn’t want the trailer perhaps there was something else that I would prefer instead. So I went to the lot at 5 to meet this Cole. First thing out of his mouth is “I knew that was you- a pretty lady in a pretty dress” I responded with something like that don’t work on me and then suddenly he has no time for me. Tells me he is dealing with customers that really want to buy something. Turned me back over to the salesperson and directed him to go “find” something else for her. Needless to say nothing is going to get accomplished. I mad, it’s hot outside and I keep getting kicked to the curb. After the salesperson informs he will not show me anything else on the lot because this sale has been such a freakin’ nightmare (his words) he’s done. He’s tired of me nitpicking everything. Explained it’s not a new trailer and shouldn’t be expecting one.  Tried to talk with him and he threw his hands up and said he was done. Left me sitting in the camper. I was done myself. I could have just kicked myself over the whole deal. Everyone I had talked to had nothing but good things to say about this place and the people. My ordeal says they must have been talking about some other place.
Sitting in the camper cooling off before I get behind the wheel I started to look again at the camper. Opening drawers, cabinets and such. I realized that stuff that was there a week ago is now gone. Extra curtains, TV cables, cable for the top to go up and down, the awning and the canvas cover when the camper is all the way down.  Besides everything that was missing, after telling me how perfect and clean it was-cabinets had dead bugs in them, rust in some of the cabinets, spider webs and such and this is AFTER the gal said she cleaned it.

July 15th was the last time I have been to the lot or spoke with anyone. On July 17th I put a stop payment on my check and contacted the Revdex.com. They have notified them of my complaint but have heard nothing back. I’m at the end of my rope. The way they have conducted themselves and treated me I would not refer anyone to them. I’m looking at a letter to the editor next. If they have done this to me how many others are out there.
I thought I had asked for a simple fix. Replace the beds, fix some of the little stuff and I will take it. They became verbally abusive and attempted to bully me into taking something that as I saw it as damaged.
Now all I want is to null and void this contract, null and void this loan so I never have to deal with these people again.

Sincerely,[redacted]

This customer purchased a used 5th wheel coach. Used coaches do not come with any warranty. This customer purchased an extended service contract. which does not become active for 30 days after purchase. This customer called in with a concern that hisrefrigerator was not working properly. we had him...

bring it in so we could look at it. we found it was icing up which would make it not work very well. At that time this customer was informed about the service contract was not valid for 30 days. when the service contract became valid we made a claim against the service contract. because of the age of the refrigerator / no longer has parts available. the extended service contract would only pay for what was wrong with the old refrigerator. so long before any parts were ordered this customer was given a complete cost's sheet of his financial responsibility. the refer that the customer picked out was not dimensionally the same size so the cabs would have to be cut and rebuilt. this customer agreed to paying the additional moneys for the upgraded refrigerator. we had 2 tech's working all day when he came in. we did not charge any labor for the whole days work. we did not make any mark up on the parts. flat net cost of the part left the customer owing $800.00  after what the extended service contract paid. this customer was informed upfront before and parts were ordered. so this customer  knowing he owned the moneys at the end of the day. After all the work was done he said he has no money and is not paying.  so at that point I can spend more labor to take my $4000.00 refrigerator out. so he agreed to make payments on the 800.00 balance of 100.00 a month. He has made no paymentshis leno. did get a small cut in it from when the used refer came out I had it glued down by my flooring guy. I guess I can take the cost of the leno replacement off of the balance he owes me. we have already split the costs of what the extended service contract didnot cover. this customer was dishonest knowing he had no intentions of paying any money but let us perform our services anyway. he signed a contract for the balance and he should pay it because that is what he agreed to prior to us doing the work.

RE:[redacted] 2000 COLEMAN NIAGRA TENT TRAILER On July 6, 2015, [redacted] purchased this tent trailer from us. She was to put $1175.00 down and finance the rest. We were able to get her approved with [redacted] for the financing, so Miss [redacted] signed all the paperwork and it was...

submitted to the bank. We put the tent trailer on the schedule for the service department to get it ready for her. In the mean time we did have a bad storm and the cushions did get wet. When she complained about the wet cushions we said we would take care of it, even getting them cl if we had too. At this point we have tried to accomidate Miss [redacted] with several options. And as far as being rude, we have bent over backwards to be nice and do what we can, but there was no making her happy. So in our defense she is the one not willing to work with us and being disgruntil and rude. On July 27, 2015 we recieved notice that she stopped payment on her down payment check. This tent trailer is financed with [redacted] so she has a contract with them and also still owes us $192.50 for installing a brake control and wiring a plug on her car. And as far as the tent trailer not being in the same condition as it was when she signed paperwork, this is true. The tent trailer has been fully serviced in our service department, so is in better shape than when she signed. Unfortunately Miss [redacted] thought that should able to just demand us put new cushions throughout the whole trailer. If the cushions were actually damaged that might be one thing but they were not, they got wet. They are completely dry and are not damaged. We have prepared the tent trailer for her as we were supposed to and followed through with our agreement. The only one who has not followed through with our agreement that she signed, is Miss [redacted].
