Call someone elseThe serviceman showed up wearing his wife's earrings and a whole lot of attitudeHe referred to my water heater as" junk" and completely disrespected the previous installers workHis take on seemed to be, " if you did not buy it from me and I did not install it, it's ***"The $quote turned into $for a thermocouple

He did a good job, but I was charged the service charge plus $for a T&P valueThey will not be getting my business again I will not be recommending them to anyone in our Townhouse complex
Thier name Affordable Water Heaters is a big jokeThey should be called Very Expensive Water Heaters

I called this company on 9/29/and they arrived onsite on 9/30/at 10am
They quoted $for service call on the phone but could not quote or estimate a repair of the thermocouple on my water heater
When the repairman arrived he confirmed that the problem was the thermocouple and put me on the phone with someone who quoted $and then reduced it to $when I complainedThey wanted to replace the thermocouple (I have confirmed that the part if less than $retail on Amazon) and the pressure relief valve (I have confirmed this is less than $on Amazon) - these are retail and delivered prices
That leaves $for laborIt took one hour to make the repairs and almost one hour to complete all the paperwork and verifying my credit card
Even if the repairman were a journeyman plumber at union rates including travel time I would peg the labor at $100% overhead for the company would make it $So I would say that this repair should have been $maximum and anything over that would be just pure price gouging
Unfortunately I reviewed Yelp after this happened and discovered that dozens of people have already had this experience although I found no complaints filed on Revdex.com
I would never call this company again and it's a shame because the repairman was courteous, knowledgeable, skilled, and had the parts on his truckEverything you would ask from a repairman but a good man having to function inside a business system that advised me of my right to three-day cancellation and then asked me to waive it in writing, and a company that gave me a pre-completed customer satisfaction survey and asked me to sign itWe just shouldn't allow companies like this to remain in business

They are the biggest scam company. My fathers water needed a new gas valve so I called the number located on the water heater itself. They came out to his house and quoted him $1150 to repair his water heater without even looking at it. He told them it was to expensive so the technician called the office and had the repair lowered to $600. Needless to say, my father refused to do business with them and had to pay them the $99 service call. Please refer to [redacted] and you will see the bad reviews. This company is worse than a Nigerian lotto scam. Any questions, please call me.

otally agree with other dismal ratings. The work itself was OK, the water heater at low end of efficiency, but the price an absolute disaster. The initial quote for an easy-access, all code-parts-in-place replacement was $2800 for a new heater & installation. I refused. The "manager" at the other end of the phone then took off $1100(!) to only &1700. In desperation on a Friday PM of a long weekend, I took it. The total time on premises was less than 2 hours, new parts (only some actually needed) less than $100 at store, and the Heater MRSP is $1000, but widely retailed at $600. So total should have been ~$1000. I'm still miffed & a bit embarrassed by this rip-off. While for them it appears to be a successful biz model, for us it is a disaster.

They charged me $2915.00 for a new water heater, "code upgrades", and a water pressure regulator! I was way overcharged for the work done. When I complained about the price they would not negotiate for a lower price. They took advantage of an emergency broken water heater. The work they did was good but you can get it done for a lot less. I would not recommend them to family or friends.
