Similarly, he has agreed for me to witness and verify the dipstick level after miles test is completed.I will schedule test with Fitzgerald Service Center and update Revdex.com as needed

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The next day after I purchased the vehicle, vehicle was unable to start upI was told it was due to the lights being left onA week later with my son, car wouldn't start after a dental appointment, I called my insurance and I was told battery leaking acidI tried calling dealership, no one available to speak withI purchased a new battery from ***Two weeks later, the brakes went completely out on in rush hour trafficVehicle unable to stop even with hard forceVehicle barely stopped when I put the hand brake onThat was a very dangerous situationWhen I wanted a trade I was told they would get back to meA part in the vehicle that was supposed to be replaced has never been replacedEvery manager just passes responsibility back and forthWhen I spoke with Gil B*** about the battery leaking acid, he told me in his words "that was a sign the alternator could have been failing." So when I get paper work backing up this theory, I'm being bambozzled againI need something done about this

Attached is the Fitzgerald 45 day or 1,250 Used Car Warranty that was provided with the sale of the vehicle to [redacted].

Dear [redacted]:This letter is in response to the complaint #[redacted], made by [redacted]. [redacted] owns a 2013 Toyota [redacted] that was purchased in December 2013, The vehicle came with a standard new car warranty for 3 years and 36,000 mile warranty. The vehicle also had complentory 2 year and...

25,000 mile maintenance services called “Toyota Care”. Th? Toyota Car? maintenance service covers the basic scheduled maintenance services outlined in the maintenance scheduled.  During each one of these services the tech fills out the Toyota multi point inspection. This inspection covers the required inspection but is not a comprehensive 169 point inspection. The 169 point inspection from Toyota is only performed on a used vehicle being considered for a Toyota Certified Used Car Program, but even this inspection does not list check and clear A/C drain. Fitzgerald Lakeforest Toyota has performed the requested services by [redacted] under the Toyota Caré Program as described.A restricted or "clogged” A/C drain can be caused by a number of different reasons but all of these types of issues are not considered a defect în material or workmanship, therefore not covered under the Toyota new car warranty, The real issue is not clearing the obstruction but to repair the damage caused by the "fresh water intrusion” to the inside of the vehicle. The water during this type of event will travel under the carpet rubber backing saturating the Judd under the carpet. This water cannot evaporate there for tauging possible mold growth and electrical system damage. Even though this damage is not covered under the vehicles new car warranty it is covered under the vehicles comprehensive insurance plan. These insurance policies will not cover the cost to remove the obstruction but will cover the damage caused by the water Intrusion. can understand [redacted]'s frustration with the $500 deductible but this amount is made by the insured to lower his premiums. In closing I would urge [redacted] to take action as soon as possible to minimize the possible damage. There has been, no wrong doing by Fitzgerald Lakeforest Toyota in this case. As an act of goodwill If [redacted] decides to have us performed the repairs under his insurance company, I will cover $200.00 of his insurance deductible. Please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected] or by phone at 301-921-0300.Šincerèly,Gil B[redacted]Fitzgerald Auto MallService Director

This consumer has filed complaints with multiple outlets so sorry for the delay. The consumer [redacted] purchased a 2012 [redacted] from Fitzgerald Auto Malls in May of 2016. The vehicle was purchased with 61,478 miles and [redacted] purchased an extended powertrain warranty underwritten...

by [redacted] for 4 years or until the vehicles reaches 121,478 miles. On June 1st 2016 [redacted] had her vehicle towed to the dealership with a complaint of brake light came on and brakes would not work. The brake system was inspected and tested but no failures were found. The brake light was on due to the 12 volt battery had failed. The battery was replaced under the Fitzgerald Used Car Warranty at no cost to the owner. Later in Feb 2017, [redacted] called the dealership with the complaint the engine is making a loud noise and may not be safe to drive. The vehicle was located her work in Virginia and she needed transportation. The dealership delivered a Rental (loaner car) to the [redacted] Hospital for [redacted] to use that same day. The driver from Fitzgerald determined the vehicle should be towed due to the noise and lack of proper steering performance. Due to transportation issues the vehicle was towed the following day for inspection. The vehicle arrived on Feb. 2nd 2017 with 77,568 miles and when inspected, it was found the alternator had failed causing the noise. The vehicle has electric steering and due to the alternator failure the power steering issue was caused by lack of proper voltage. During this visit it was found that the right side axle seal was also leaking fluid. The [redacted] Service Contract was contacted but the alternator was not a covered component under the powertrain coverage level and the axle seal was covered under a ** Warranty Extension. [redacted] authorized the alternator replacement for $675.71 and after the vehicle was transported to a ** dealer for the axle seal replacement. The vehicle was then picked up and returned to [redacted] by Fitzgerald Auto Malls ([redacted] was provided No Charge rental car transportation during this entire service visit).[redacted] called again on April 20th 2017 with complaint of check engine light was on due to intake manifold failure and she was driving to the dealership and needed a rental/loaner car waiting for her. With no prior warning the staff was able to resource a vehicle for her to drive during with the short notice. The vehicle arrived with 81,408 miles. [redacted] was expedited to a loaner car to minimize her inconvenience. The vehicle was inspected and it was found the cause of the check engine light/engine running rough condition was due to a cracked intake hose. [redacted] Powertrain Service Agreement does not cover this component. [redacted] declined the repair with GM new part, used part and aftermarket part and picked up her vehicle not repaired. Fitzgerald Auto Malls has repaired the vehicle during the Fitzgerald Used Car Warranty Period, has provided a rental car at no charge to [redacted] during each of her service visits, has provided no charge pick up and deliver service and has continued to provide her service to her 2012 [redacted] when requested. [redacted] has driven 19,312 miles since purchase in May 2nd 2017. The [redacted] Service Contract is honored at any repair facility of her choice. I Gil B[redacted] have investigated [redacted]’s concerns and have been active in each one of her service visits. I have offered to meet to review her concerns and to review what documentation she has but to date I have not received an answer. Modern Automobiles do require maintenance and at times repairs and it is expected with higher mileage the odds are greater that a repair may be required. At this time the request by [redacted] to repair the vehicle at no charge or to return the vehicle are denied. Please feel free to contract me directly to discuss and additional details at ###-###-#### or by email at [redacted]@fitzmall.com.Gil B[redacted]Fitzgerald Automalls

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: They are being untruthful in the recounting of the details to their own benefit. Simple acknowledgment of the "error" would have gone a long way. And, their "investigation" was incomplete as all parties present were not interviewed.
