We have met with the clientIt appears the issue is actually with the electrical wiring and not the sump pump itselfAs we did not install the wiring, all we can do is advise the client and urge him to have a qualified electrician inspect and upgrade the system to allow proper functioning of the sump pump.Ttank you!

customer, we asked the customer to pay us what she thought was fair. The customer paid us $120 over the contract price at the customers own decision. Initial contact with salesperson, [redacted], and estimate process was professional. Day of job the crew leader was in a big rush, failed to introduce himself or want to listen to customer description of job. He was apparently unaware he would need to work around an irrigation system - a single sprinkler head and line - which meant using some additional care, even though it was discussed in detail with the sales rep and sprinkler heads marked by flags, as instructed. He babbled on and on how he was not informed and would not do the job. He called the sales rep and ripped him up and down right in front of me (customer) and his crew, told the rep to call me even though I was standing there when all he had to do was hand over the phone. He rambled on and on again about his "issue" and refused to spend a few minutes with me looking for a solution to "his problem". Rude and unprofessional fail to describe the experience.

A short time later I got a call from sales rep who apologized profusely. The sales rep came back to the house, he and I explored simple solutions to work around the single sprinkler head in the area. He took some pictures and sent to his boss, "[redacted]", who then agreed to come back and do the job.
He and the crew returned work was done. The job was OK, not great, clean up and finish left a lot to be desired. I even was asked to run to the store to get some supplies they lacked because the crew had some "driver license challenges". I had to have sales rep out next day to clean up the mess left behind.
Never once was an apology extended, nor was any inquiry made by the owner, [redacted], if the job was satisfactory before they left.

Mike has done work for me in the past, and is scheduled to do work for me in the near future. I am very pleased with his work. He knows what he's doing, and offers good work at an affordable price. I have recommended him to others on a couple of occasions.

Review: I contracted to have the outside of the north, underground wall of my basement waterproofed. The representative of this company came over & measured the inside of my basement, not the outside including my chimney. He measured WRONG , even shorting the proper dimentions on the interior wall. I negotiated a price, which was more than I expected, & signed a contract. Later I was informed that I was responsible for contacting the gas company & for paying for the removal & replacement of the gas meter & lines. While diging the trench, I was notified that the wall was in excess of the contracted amount & was threatened to have a partially waterproofed basement wall, unless I paid more for the additional square feet. I am angry at myself for not measuring the wall myself before signing the contract, or for not including the words " North Wall". Was this extortion? Good business practices?Desired Settlement: The original error was in the measurments NOT taken by me. I would not have contracted for more money as I cannot afford to spend this excess amount . I would like a refund of the additional charges.

The customer was, we did contact her about the gas meter and asked that the gas meter be removed for safety reasons, the customer agreed. The gas company removed and replaced the gas meter at no charge to the customer. The wall was completely dug out before we discussed any additional cost to the customer, we asked the customer to pay us what she thought was fair. The customer paid us $120 over the contract price at the customers own decision. I have never extorted anyone out of any money and my company doesn't operate that way. I don't appreciate being accused of extortion. Thank you Affordable Waterproofing
