I contracted the business to purchase a vinyl window and installation on October 2nd 2019, it was a special order and I paid for the window on October 2nd. I hadn’t received a call of when the window was in, I had to contact them to see if the window was in, I got a installation date of November 8th and I requested a call the day before the installation was to take place, instead I received a call 30mins before they were coming out and wasn’t able to be at the home so they came out and put me down as a no show with no one home and to reschedule and now I have a new installation date of December 3rd, I explained to them that it’s cold out side with freezing temperatures and that I need the window installed like rite away and I was told I had to wait till December 3rd I then explained that the people are freezing and I was told it’s not their problem I then asked for a refund an was also denied. The lady who think is the secretary I asked to speak to a manger and was told I had to call back in a week. This is not acceptable for a family to be freezing and the company could careless. I need some resolution to this issue. Either they get the window installed ASAP or refund my money, waiting three weeks is not acceptable.

he was scheduled and no one was home. That is considered a cancellation. We scheduled him further out because this is our busy season. We went out and installed the window.

a representative from Affordable Windows agreed to deliver windows installation within two weeks from June 29th 2018. Have that time he was given a deposit for these windows. After several weekseveral attempts was made to contact both headquarters and ***. On July 31st 2018 *** contacted me and agreed to check into when the windows would be able to get completed. He failed to do this and I then made several attempts in text messaging, and phone calls to get a installation date. On September 5th 2018 an individual named, *** contacted me stating that it was her fault *** did not contact me, I informed her this was a lie because I did speak to *** on July 31st and he did have my number. I have been a repeat customer with Affordable Windows for some time now , and *** knows me well . At that time *** recanted her statement and apologized for lying. *** then went on to say I needed to contact another individual with Affordable Windows to resolve the issues.

MRS. WAS CONTACTED ON 9/5/18 TO GET SCHEDULED FOR INSTALLATION. MRS. IS MAKING ACCUSATIONS OF THE OFFICE LYING AND THAT IS FALSE INFORMATION. SHE ALSO SAYING SHE CALLED HEADQUARTERS WHICH IS INACCURATE. DOES ANYONE THINK THAT WE WANT THEIR WINDOWS SITTING IN OUR WAREHOUSE AND WE DONT WANT TO GET PAID ON THE JOB. WE WANT THEIR WINDOWS INSTALLED JSUT AS BAD AS THEY WANT IT. WHAT MRS. WAS TOLD WAS THAT HER NUMBER WAS WRITTEN WRONG ON HER CONTRACT AND THEREFORE WE WERE NOT ABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HER. HER SALES PERSON CAME TO THE OFFICE TO INQUIRE ABOUT HER ORDER AND WAS TOLD THAT WE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HER BUT THAT THE NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED. UPON THE SALES PERSON DOUBLE CHECKED ON THE PHONE NUMBER TO FIND OUT HE ACCIDENTLY WROTE THE PHONE NUMBER. THIS WAS NOT AN INTENTIONAL MISTAKE AND THE CUSTOMER DID SIGN THE CONTRACT WITH THAT PHONE NUMBER ON IT. WE GET CUSTOMERS ALL THE TIME THAT CHANGE THEIR PHONE NUMBERS AND WE HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING THEM. NO ONE IN THE COMPANY HAS LIED OR EVEN TRIED TO LIE TO MRS.. WE CAN ACCOMMODATE HER REQUEST TO INSTALL BEFORE THE 15TH OF SEPTEMBER BUT IT WILL NOT BE DONE AT AFFORDABLE WINDOWS EXPENSE. WE HAVE JUST RIED CONTACTING MRS. AT HE PHONE NUMBER LISTED ABOVE AND ARE GETTING AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE THAT SAYS THE VOICEMAIL BOX IS NOT SETUP THEREFORE WE COULD NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE. PLEASE HAVE MRS. GIVE US A CALL TO SCHEDULE HER INSTALLATION AT

AS I STATED IN PREVIOUS COMPLAINT I SPOKE WITH *** ON 09/05/18. SHE INFORMED ME THAT "A INCORRECT PHONE NUMBER WAS GIVEN TO ***, AND THAT IS WHY HE HADN'T CONTACTED ME." AT THAT TIME I INFORMED HER THAT HE DID IN FACT CONTACT ME, THEREFORE THIS INCORRECT PHONE NUMBER STATEMENT IS INDEED FALSE. FURTHERMORE, I AM A REPEAT CUSTOMER OF AFFORDABLE WINDOWS, HAVE BEEN DO BUSINESS WITH *** FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS, AND WHEN HE SEES MY NUMBER HE ANSWERS WITH A APPROPRIATE SALUTATION AND MY LAST NAME. PREVIOUSLY I HAVE DEALT ONLY WITH *** FOR SETTING UP, INSTALLATION AND ANY CONCERNS I MIGHT HAVE SO, IT IS NATURAL ME TO CONTINUE TO WORK WITH ***, AND EXPECT *** TO CALL FOR SET UP OF INSTALLATION, AND FOR OTHER ISSUES. ON 9/4/18 I CONTACTED AFFORDABLE WINDOWS AND WAS TRANSFERRED TO A VOICE MAIL SYSTEM. ON 9/5/18 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A REPRESENTATIVE SHE STATED INSTALLATION WOULD BE SOME TIME IN OCTOBER, I FIND THAT UNEXCEPTIONABLE FOR SOMEONE THAT WAS ASSURED INSTALLATION WOULD BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN JULY 13, 2018. MY ISSUES IS LACK OF COMMUNICATION AS TO WHAT IS GOING ON. I WOULD LIKE TO ADD, IN THE PAST I HAVE REFERRED THIS COMPANY TO SEVERAL CO-WORKERS, AND I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I AM RECEIVING.

We are willing to work with the consumer to make the date before September 15, but every time we reach out there is not an answer and no way to leave a voicemail. We cannot make that date if she does not communicate with us. Please have her call the office at *** and speak to *** and we will get her scheduled.

Mrs. contract does not specify a date on which the windows were to be installed. Unfortunately she forfeits her refund if she cancels. We have tried to accommodate Mrs. and unfortunately she is not being reasonable. We are a reputable company that is willing to work somethings out where it allows us to. Unfortunately as you can see Mrs. is not being reasonable.

The the contract does not State a date of installation correct, however your representative verbally explain to me that it should be completed within the two-week period. Verbal agreements are binding. Previous business I have done with Affordable Windows, work was completed within the two-week time. Therefore, expectations remained the same. I am not being unreasonable . I should have been contacted after the 2-week time . expired and told of an expected installation date . I contacted your office and was told to contact the representative , and which I did so, and he explained to me that he would get right back to me what you did not another 30 days went past and I heard nothing . This is not being unreasonable . According to this contract it states Windows not paid for within 60 days will forfeit without refund of down payment . I paid for my windows . The invoice States 3 windows at $179. 99 to coil wraps at $50, 1 Mulligan at $50 , 1 obscure glass at $30 . The total price for above States $777.56 . down payment States $388.78 , balance due States $388.78 . With the hostility and disappointment a good customer such as myself have received from this company I am no longer comfortable doing business with you therefore I would like my money returned.

The consumer ordered windows from Affordable Windows. He was under the impression that he had ordered gridded windows. When he tried to schedule an appointment to have the windows installed, he was given the run around and had to call 6 times just to have it scheduled for the 15th. When he called on 8/14 to confirm, they stated he was scheduled for the 16th. Yesterday, he called again to confirm the product was indeed the product he had requested and *** the salesperson, stated he had never ordered gridded windows as stated in the contract. The consumer stated the contract was hard to understand and he couldn't tell which windows he had actually ordered but had specified two times in conversation that he wanted gridded windows when he originally purchased the windows. The consumer requested to get the gridded windows instead and *** stated he would have to pay the full price for the windows if he wanted to receive them.

WE HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO ***. AT LEAST ACCORDING TO *** WHOM IS THE PERSON WHO CALLED AND WHOM WE HAVE BEEN SPEAKING TO. AFFORDABLE HAS BEEN CONFUSED WITH THIS CUSTOMER FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. WE HAVE ASK TO SPEAK TO *** AND *** TOLD US THAT WE WILL NOT BE SPEAKING TO *** VIA TEXT MESSAGE. THE CUSTOMER IS CLAIMING THAT HE IS SOMEONE BY THE NAME OF ***. SO WE WILL SAY WE SPOKE WITH ***. *** CALLED AND WAS TOLD HIS WINDOWS WERE NOT IN THE FROM THE MANUFACTURER THE FIRST FEW TIMES HE CALLED. HE WAS ALSO TOLD WHEN HE CALLED THE FIRST FEW TIMES THAT UOPN HIS WINDOWS ARRIVING TO THE WAREHOUSE HE WILL BE GIVEN A CALL TO SCHEDULE INSTALLATION. HIS IMPATIENCE LEAD HIM TO CALL OUR OFFICE OVER AND OVER WITH THE SAME RESULT. WE DID SCHEDULE HIM FOR INSTALLATION FOR THE 16TH NOT THE THE 15TH. IF YOU LOOK ON THE CONTRACT THAT *** SIGNED. IT IS CLEAR THAT THE WINDOWS WERE NOT WITH GRIDS. (OUR CONTRACT IS PRETTY SIMPLE AND SELF EXPLANATORY WHEN IT COMES TO THE TYPE OF WINDOWS THE CUSTOMERS ARE GETTING. UPON *** CALLING WE WILL SCHEDULE INSTALLATION WITH *** AND WINDOWS WILL BE INSTALLED AS ORDER PER THE CONTRACT SIGNED BY *** WHICH DO NOT HAVE GRIDS.

We have used them twice both times we can't even get a call saying the windows are in. I have had to hunt the salesman down to ask if the windows are in and try to get scheduled. The second set of windows we ordered has taken 6 months with no communication from Affordable. I tried to express my frustrations with the owner and he tried to blame me and take no responsibility. They only partially installed the second set and has the nerve to tell me they don't want to keep making trips out. Not my fault when they don't come with the materials or show up. The bay window came damaged so Affordable took that as they were not going to finish the job. This company is unbelievable. Poor customer service and no responsibility.
