After receiving the complaint from the Revdex.com and Mr. [redacted] I contacted Mr. [redacted] by phone. On 8/30/2016 we serviced the window in question as promised. The window had a failed insulated glass unit, which was warrantied by TRACO, the original manufacturer. TRACO is no longer in business and thus the warranty is no longer valid. However, in good faith, we replaced the glass for Mr. [redacted] at no cost to him. The complaint has been resolved. Steve S[redacted]Affordable Windows###-###-####[redacted]
Review: The owner of this company and his son-in-law came to do some work around a sliding glass door. This also included minor cement work where you step out of the doorway. All of the work was completed in one day except the owner [redacted] said the cement needed to set for a day or so before he finished caulking. Well, that's been 9 days ago. We called and left a message, but no return calls. And now the cement is cracking and separating! He also stated when he returned he would bring our receipt for the work. No return and no receipt!Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the $400.00 since this will have to be redone and this business owner is no longer reputable.

This morning at approximately 8:50AM I returned to the [redacted]s residence to speak with Mr. [redacted] concerning his phone call of earlier this week. Due to weather & scheduling issues I had not been able to return to the [redacted] residence to caulk the Sliding Glass Door to the freash concrete stoop. There was never any intent to not return and complete this small task, but in hindsight I should have returned their call promptly & explained why I hadn't been there . This morning I arrived at the residence and no one would answer the door, so I called the residence and the call went to the answering machine. I left a message explaining that I was there and since I was there I would take a look at the door to address the concerns expressed in Mr. [redacted]s phone message to me. While in the back yard looking at the door Mr. [redacted] came out and confronted me, somewhat hostile, about the caulking and why I had not been back or answered his phone message. I explained the situation and tried to apoligize but was asked to leave. While there I was able to observe the work I performed and there is only very small seperation of the aluminum Sliding Glass Door Threshold from the Concrete Stoop, which is expected and the reason I was going to return to run a bead fo caulk. There are no defects in the work performed and I am more than willing to return to the [redacted]'s, at their convenience, to caulk the 6' length between the Concrete Stoop & Sliding Door.
