I went to rainbow cycle because they were the closest location that sold the bike I wanted and there was not a lot of location around me that carried this brand. I honestly can't say why they are in business. Their customer service is horrible at best. First I ended up calling to see if they carried this style of bike and asking if I could come by and do a test drive. They indicated they didn't have that style but had one that was very similar. I took that as an invitation to swing by and take it for a short spin. When I arrived I was informed they do not let anyone test drive any bike. I looked at the similar bike and agreed to have one ordered. I talked with the sales rep and with either the owner or the manager. I wanted to know how long it would take to get my bike in. They simply refused to even give me any time frame and told me they couldn't be held responsible if it took a long time. I am left to wonder at this point had they ever ordered this bike before? Are you so dense that you couldn't look at some past orders and give your customer some insight? Do you really care that little about your customer? I went ahead and ordered and told them that I would do so if the bike was here within 2-3 weeks. I got a text from the sales rep around a week later and was told the bike was ordered and that it would be here in a couple business days. At that point I am wondering why it took a week before the order was placed (That wasn't the case they actually ordered it 2 business days later. The sales rep just miscommunicated.) I waited until the days had come and past and I texted the sales rep back to check the status off. I was told he didn't know who I was because he deleted his text... I am not sure why you would delete text with an active customer you are working on but I guess that is the level of service they wanted to provide... I once again explained who I was and what bike I had ordered. He said he was off and would call to check on it and let me know. I told him no problem and waited for his call or text. He never did respond. I waited 2 business days and text him again to get an update and surprise surprise it "just" came in. He asked if I was coming by and I let him know I was checking and then I was on my way. I asked him to have it ready and all of the paperwork ready so that I didn't have to wait. I arrived exactly in the window I told him to expect me. He met me soon after I entered and I asked him if it was all ready. He said yes and took me to the lady who does the financing. Once again surprise, it wasn't ready they had not printed off anything. She was actually pretty nice and quickly printed off the documents for me to sign. I filled out all the documents and went out ready to get my new bike. It had been about 3 hours after the bike had "just" came in and they had just now put it on a charger to charge the battery. I am now concerned on why you have to charge a battery on a band new bike... I was told it would be about 45 more minutes... Why I wasn't told that on the front end I have no clue, I guess it didn't matter to them. I left for a bit and came back. I finally had my bike and the sales rep asked me if I had everything.... Now you as the dealer and the one who is giving me everything should know if you followed through and gave your customer everything you promised and everything he needed. I told him I do not know I do not sale these... he smiled and walked away... After a quick walk through I was on my way but I can promise you I will never buy another bike from this company and I would encourage you to shop elsewhere. I have to believe not all bike companies are like this.
