African Roots Hair Braiding

Review: I had my hair braided there. Made an apt 3 weeks in advance for 9am. Had to wait for an hour before someone got there that was able to braid my hair. She spent the first 2 hours in the bathroom and laying down in her car. When she did start she braided the front so that it looks real nice. The back has pieces of my hair sticking out of the braid. They put crazy glue on the hair so that it will stay in. Since my hair is sticking out of the braid my own natural hair now has crazy glue on it. I will have to cut one to two inches of my own hair to get the braided hair out. I paid $200 for this service. On the website (africanrootsbraiding.com) it says $220 if they supply the hair, $180 if you supply your own hair). I did not notice the fuzzy hair in the back until I came to work 2 days later and a co-worker asked me why it was so fuzzy in the back. That is when I noticed that the braided hair was not braided past my hair. I got my hair braided for my 30th Year Reunion and am not able to get it redone in time for the reunion. On Saturday when I told the owner of my dissatisfaction he merely started telling me how people rely on their jobs to live and did not offer me any compensation for my awful experience. I am really frustrated because I cant get this redone and have already spent $260 on this style ($60 worth of hair I ordered).Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money refunded. I would like this merchant to start thinking of customers not only when they book appointments but also when you are in the shop and getting hair done. If the stylist is too sick to braid your hair she either should not be there or have someone else there who can take over.
