AFSCO Fence has completed the installation of the fenceOur current
waiting list for installation orders is running to weeks longWe inform
our customers of our lead times and do not include completion dates on our
contracts as there are too many factors affecting our schedule that
we
cannot control (weather conditions, changes & add-ons that prolong and
delay completion of other open projects, labor force issues, etc.♦.)AFSCO
does its best to keep our customers informed as our lead times changeWe
strive to meet the expectations of our customers but sometimes we must ask
our customers to be patientWe feel a high quality fence & installation is
and will continue to be our ultimate goalIn order to achieve this result,
sometimes our customers are forced to wait longer than they would prefer

Got a piece of fence for a repairVery friendly and helpful

I am shocked they are a memberThey built each piece of my fence a different size and when I ordered the top , they didn't fit and two were built backwardsThey do not answer questions, they do not respond to you and they refuse to refund any portionThey are terrible when it comes to customer service

I am responding to the recent complaint (# [redacted]) that was received from your organization on July 25th, 2014, and to share with you an account of what has transpired to date.

The fence was successfully completed on December 6th, with the final balance promptly paid on December 19, with...

complete satisfaction from the customer, of the work completed.

We received a call in February in regards to an issue with the double gate leaf, in that it was cracked in two locations and would be in need of repair. I met with the customer and stated that we would repair the damaged gate, without questioning whether it was a manufacturer’s warranty or not and agreed that the company would cover the cost of the gate leaf and installation. It was agreed to that we would commence with the repair in spring, after we began our residential installations.

There in fact have been several delays in getting the repair completed, yet I am happy to say that it has been completed and at no charge to the customer.

Sincerely,

[redacted]
Afsco Fence Company

This letter is in response to complaint ID [redacted]. This complaint comes as a bit of a shock, due to my conversations with
the customer in question. I would like to present a timeline of the complaint at hand.
Our crew was on site for installation on 8/27/2014. Upon getting to the work site, our foreman, [redacted], contacted the customer
in question and reviewed the layout for the fencing project. It was at that time that we were informed that there was a line buried
underground in the vicinity of where we were to set our first post. [redacted] used the existing hole from the customers previous fence, to
start the line for their new installation. While on site, on day 1 of the installation, while completing the back left corner of the fence, a
hose had come off of the customer in question's pool pump. Instinctually, [redacted] turned the power to the pump off, due the amount of
water that was gushing out of the hose, and returned the hose to its proper location on the pump. The crew finished the day's work, but
did not turn the power to the pump on before leaving.
When [redacted] returned the next day to complete the job, he explained the happenings with the pool pump to the customer in
question. She informed him that the hose coming off, and leaking water was a regular occurrence, and she would take care of
tightening the hose, and power the pump later. [redacted] proceeded to complete the fence project that second day, 8/28/2014.
In regards to the issues with the gate not opening properly, the husband of the customer in question has requested that we lift
the height of the fence to accommodate for the grade of their lawn. Prior to installation the customers in question were informed of the
issues we may run into with the grade of the lawn, and gate placement. The customers in question were told, to get the gate to open, we
may need to trench some of the existing soil to accommodate for the grade.
I had spoken with the customer in question a day after the install, and she had informed me of the issues at hand. I told her I
would have to contact the foreman, [redacted], about the issues. [redacted] made a site visit on 8/30/2014 to review the issues the customers had.
[redacted] informed the customers that we will gladly take care of the issue with the gate, but not knowing where the underground line was
located, with our tools and knowledge, we wouldn't be able to locate where their damaged line would be.
As a company, before any installation is started, we require that any PRIVATE underground utilities be marked by the
customer, to avoid any such occurrences. The customers documented that there were no private underground utilities on site for us to
possibly hit.
The issue with the gate has been addressed. The customers in question have been informed, via voicemail, which they did not
responded to, that we intend to take care of this situation this weekend, the weekend of 9/13/2014.
Thank you for your time,
[redacted]

Cheers to AFSCO! Thank you for the excellent service installing my fence. Chris was very accommodating meeting with me and helping to figure out the best plan for my fence. Renzo and Dave were very professional and diligent doing the installation. I can't be happier with my AFSCO fence - finished on schedule and budget. They are an awesome team!

I ordered fencing from AFSCO and it took them almost 2 -3 months to grt the materials. I had all my flowers and evergreens removed which died while waiting for my order to come in. When I saw the fence I didn't think it would keep my three pound puppy safe, they refused to give me a refund. They held my money for a year. One rep was so annoyed with my calls looking for some resove told me he'd dump the materials on my lawn. Meanwhile I finally ordered fencing from home depot and it was deliveted in three days. These characters are expensive and nasty to work with. I lost several hundred dollars woth of plantsvand they basically told me tough luck.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
In response to Afsco's explanation to the complaint , at no time did anyone ever say that the lawn might have to be graded. Upon completion, [redacted] pointed out where he dug up the lawn . The gate only partially opened at that time and there was a hole in front it. I would have expected a company that has been in the fence business as long as Afsco would know how to install a gate so it properly opens. As far as the pool line , [redacted] did 2 visits to the house prior to instillation and was aware of the pool in the yard. Also when signing the contract he asked about underground lines and was told there was a pool but said that's not a problem and checked the box that said no underground lines on property. As a result of Afsco's mistakes we now have to hire an electrician to repair pool lines and repair the lawn that was dug out. These are expenses that could have been avoided if the fence was properly installed.
Regards,
[redacted]

Terrible service. Good at writing the contract, awful at everything else. Slow delivery and god help you if it needs anything corrected, which something certainly will. All promises, no action. Took them 3 months after completion to bill us FFS...avoid.

Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] at business and the following response was relayed:
We have agreed with the customer to reset the entire fence to make the customer happy. We have come to an agreeable cost for the consumer.
