Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The business response provided is and inaccurate The truck had been discussed with the owner and it was agreed he would tow it to his shop to work on it After weeks and multiple excuses as to why he couldn't tow it, we brought the truck down ourselves An appointment and agreement had been made and I was assured it would be worked on within the week After nearly a month and me personally stopping in to speak to the owner multiple times to check on it, we finally told the owner we needed it completed, to finish the work and release the truck I was assured by the owner he would get it "as close to running right as he could and led to believe it was nothing more than a timing issue".The truck never had overheated nor had contaminated oil We drove it to him with simple a rough idle issueThe owner's inability to properly scan or uncover the true issue resulted in delays and needless repairs which not only failed to resolve the original issue, but made matters worse. The truck was released to my so at night, without even being worked on as promised and resulted in a near miss traffic accident situation due to the truck failing to be driveable It was after the near miss accident I went to the shop to ask why nothing had been touched and yet my son was charged over $for the work.Local mechanics corrected the issue, with proper scanning, within a few hours labor and for under $ I have all bills and receipts.Bottom line is this is a Buyer Beware service location where estimates will be given and lengthy turn around times will be encountered The owner and mechanic lack the professional knowledge nor skill to correctly identify and correct your issue and will do whatever work they can and charge as much as possible for unnecessary mechanical actions. The response from the owner only confirms that there is no professional accountability nor honesty in their work.I would not recommend their services to anyone requiring a quality and timely repair Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business response provided is false and inaccurate.  The truck had been discussed with the owner and it was agreed he would tow it to his shop to work on it.  After 3 weeks and multiple excuses as to why he couldn't tow it, we brought the truck down ourselves.  An appointment and agreement had been made and I was assured it would be worked on within the week.  After nearly a month and me personally stopping in to speak to the owner multiple times to check on it, we finally told the owner we needed it completed, to finish the work and release the truck.  I was assured by the owner he would get it "as close to running right as he could and led to believe it was nothing more than a timing issue".The truck never had overheated nor had contaminated oil.  We drove it to him with simple a rough idle issue. The owner's inability to properly scan or uncover the true issue resulted in delays and needless repairs which not only failed to resolve the original issue, but made matters worse. The truck was released to my so at night, without even being worked on as promised and resulted in a near miss traffic accident situation due to the truck failing to be driveable.  It was after the near miss accident I went to the shop to ask why nothing had been touched and yet my son was charged over $900 for the work.Local mechanics corrected the issue, with proper scanning, within a few hours labor and for under $300.  I have all bills and receipts.Bottom line is this is a Buyer Beware service location where false estimates will be given and lengthy turn around times will be encountered.  The owner and mechanic lack the professional knowledge nor skill to correctly identify and correct your issue and will do whatever work they can and charge as much as possible for unnecessary mechanical actions. The response from the owner only confirms that there is no professional accountability nor honesty in their work.I would not recommend their services to anyone requiring a quality and timely repair.
