First off, emergency veterinary professionals perform a difficult job under immense pressure - often working to save the very life of our beloved petsOn a day-to-day basis, they must make judgemet calls about the healthcare of an animal that cannot communicate, as well as guide owners to make (often) tough decisions of care for a beloved pet and finance For this, and their dedication to try to help animals - I am appreciative
Sadly, this operation (AHEVEC) has been impossible to communicate with since a serious issue regarding their treatment of our pet arose I have called to address this issue several times and have been screened out by reception when asking to speak with the owner, told that the owner doesn't accept email, been refused (by phone) by the client services director, and been told to send my issue to the receptionist by email or to a generic email (from which I got no reply) I was unable to get them to even confirm reciept of the email - much less address the issue
Along with providing quality care for our pets - I would say that (human) customer service, accountability, and good communication are vital to earn my trust and my future business; each of these areas fell short in my experience with After Hours Veterinary Emergency ClincI would strongly advise pet owners to choose their emergency veterinary service BEFORE there is an emergency and to choose very carefully and to learn from others experience (like mine)
