AG Appliance Repair Reviews (2)

Review: I was forced to use AG Appliance Repair through my home warrant company, First American Home Warranty when my dishwasher stopped working. I have been waiting for it to be repaired for 2.5 months now. Whenever I make an appointment, I am given a 4-hour window. I usually make an appointment for the morning in the window of 8-12. For the last 4 appointments I was given a time of 8-12. AG would call the day before to confirm my appointment time. When the tech didn't show up by 12PM, I would call to find out why he wasn't there and they would respond that my appointment time was changed to 11-3. I was never notified, and now I am either forced to take the rest of the day off of work, or not have my dishwasher looked at. I waited around until 5PM for the tech on one particular appointment and he spent 15 minutes diagnosing the problem and then said that he would have to come back another day, and left. So I waited for 9 hours for the problem not to be solved. I had a similar experience on the other 3 appointments where I was told one 4-hour window and no one showed up until after 3PM, but by then I am gone because they don't show up within the specified window. This is unacceptable. I have taken 4 days off of work to have my dishwasher fixed and it is still not fixed. That means that I am losing money to sit around the house for nothing. I explain this to the AG Appliance office staff, but I am told that there is nothing that they can do about it. The office staff is extremely rude, and when I ask to speak to a supervisor, they put me on hold and the same person answers the phone ans says that they are the supervisor. I am at the point of contacting my attorney and suing for lost wages. This goes beyond scheduling conflicts. This is now negligence and I am not going to deal with it any longer.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $60.00 I payed to AG Appliance to fix this problem. I would also like to be reimbursed for the time that I was kept waiting at my house waiting for a tech to show up, but failed to do so. 4 days at $250 per day = $1000.00. That would equal a total of $1060.00.

Review: I am dealing with a refrigerator replacement and they (AG Appliance) have come out and written up the order as replacement refrigerator required because of no working icemaker due to no insulation in the body of my refrigerator. They are not sending the information to Frigerdaire as I have been in contact with them (Frigerdaire Warranty) many times. The extended Warranty division of frigerdaire has also called AG appliance and they are not receiving a call back or the faxed work Order from AG Appliance so I can receive my replacement refrigerator. Frigerdaire has also stated that they are being very unprofessional and may eliminate them from their service agreements. All I need is my replacement refrigerator. Frigerdaire has been most helpful and very Professional where AG is not.Desired Settlement: I just want my replacement refrigerator and this matter resolved as quickly as possible
