Review: Van was under warranty but shop claimed that he has been working with the person where he bought the transmission from to get a replacement. After several months and after giving us the run around, he claimed that he could not claim the insurance and we should pay for a full repair, after claiming that he repaired the van three times, he claimed that we should rebuilt the transmission instead. He gave us the van and after two weeks the transmission went out again! Total scammer. Owner [redacted] is not professional.Desired Settlement: We desire to receive a letter explaining why this person gave us the run around and why he lied to our faces many times....

To whom it may concern,

This is a response to [redacted]. claim. first the van was brought in w/ no receipt of previous work and they demanded a warranty, we asked them to produce a receipt to the claim they were making that the transmission was under warranty. I then took it upon myself to try and locate any paperwork from the past that we had replaced the transmission in the past and to see if it was still under any type of warranty. In the end I never found any invoice or warranty for the transmission. I'd also like to state that we have worked for [redacted] and [redacted] for many years and have fixed and serviced many cars for them. With no warranty we then offered [redacted] a few options for another transmission, used or re manufactured. [redacted] and [redacted] decided on a used transmission, we then ordered a used unit from [redacted] in Chula Vista, after receiving 3 bad units I told [redacted] it was costing too much money and time installing all these bad units and we then decided to give up on the used transmission. [redacted] and [redacted] then approved a rebuit unit, we sent the original trans to a local rebuilder and had it rebuilt. The trans worked great and we contacted [redacted] to pick it up and leave payment. Since they are a fleet, we have an AMEX card of file for charges to their vehicles. [redacted] came to pick up the vehicle and my employee tried to run the card on file for the $2200 but it was declined. Then [redacted] called [redacted] and gave my employee a bad credit card number and basically stole the vehicle without payment and gave a fake #. I still have the number they wrote down. So no payment was made, after chasing them down a few weeks later [redacted] called and said the transmission was having problems. That is called KARMA!. Bad credit c.c # stole vehicle bad ppl.
