-DIAGNOSE: GOING OVER MT HOOD PULLING TRAVEL TRAILER VEHICLE RAN BUT DIED DOWN TO IDLE THEN WOULD GO AGAIN OK, THEN DOWN TO IDLE AGAIN, TEMP CODE APPEARED WHEN GOING OVER HOOD AS TEMP INCREASED BUT WENT AWAY WHEN TEMP DECREASED AGAIN, AROUND TOWN WAS OK BUT THEN STARTED EVEN IN TOWN (MORE CONSISTENTLY OCCURING NOW), REPLACED LIFT PUMP AND FUEL SYSTEM RELAY BUT DID NOT RESOLVE ISSUE, HAD A FUEL PUMP TIMING CODE READ (216 OR 218: FUEL PUMP TIMING- CUSTOMER DID NOT RECALL WHICH)
---P0216 FUEL INJECTION PUMP TIMING FAILURE, INJECTION PUMP IS CAUSING DEAD PEDAL (RECOMMEND INJECTION PUMP)
ALSO FOUND RADIATOR IS PLUGGED WITH DEBRIS, TRANSMISSION LEAKING AT SHIFT SHAFT SEAL (BAND WAY OUT OF ADJUSTMENT) BALL JOINTS ARE BAD, RECOMMEND LOF, BATTERY HOLD DOWNS AND POWER STEERING SERVICE.

---TECHNICAIN INSPECTED VEHICLE FOR FUEL SYSTEM ISSUES (POOR FUEL ECONOMY) PERFORMED CONSOLE RESET (AVERAGE FUEL ECONOMY) WAS RESET TO 0 MPG, TEST DRIVEN AND SHOWS 16.8 MPG ON TEST DRIVE. CONSISTANT WITH THE MILEAGE THAT MB GOT WHEN WE SENT HIM ON LONG TEST DRIVE. FILL TANK AND DRIVE AT LEAST 2 TANK FULLS THROUGH AND RECORD (HIGHWAY, IN TOWN, MIXED ) DRIVING STYLE, AND REPORT.
