Agape Retaining Walls, Incwas incorporated on Feband since that time we have completed thousands of jobs and installed many hundreds of thousands of S.fof retaining wallsWe have not had a complaint against us in over years in business and we have nothing but great reviews
everywhere, plus an A+ rating at the Revdex.com! This customer's story misrepresents what has transpired between usThey did sign a contract in to have us do retaining walls at their homeWhen we signed we received a 10% down as is standard operating procedureAt that time I told the customer that weather permitting we could be started around 8-weeks from the time of signingWe then had the engineering completed and applied for and received permits for the projectOn the day we started the project in accordance with the contract we received 1/or the remainder due and began cutting out brush and delivering materialsAfter we started the project it began to rainWe got into a wet time and since the walls are located at the bottom of a very steep grade we were unable to get our equipment down the hill safely and certainly would not have been able to get it back upWhen things dried out we came back in to work and excavated over l.fof footing for our lowest wall and had it crumbed out and ready for rock when it began raining againWhen it dried out we came back in and pumped out thousands of gallons of water and then hand mucked out all the mud to put our footing rock inBefore we could get the rock in it started raining againThis process was repeated about 1/a dozen times! Finally we were able to get enough dry time to get rocked and start building wallAt this time the homeowner actually added a large section of wall to the projectThis voided my existing permits and engineering so that I had to get everything re-engineered and re-permitted by countyAfter this was done we started back to building wall and getting inspections; however, the homeowner had become very frustrated by the time it was taking to get this project done and began to make threats that he would penalize us if we did not have the project completed by his determined time line and that if we could not finish the job at this time that he had found another company that used "Mexican" workers (the homeowner's word not mine) and that they would be able to do it cheaper and that they told him they would work in the mud on the hillAt this time he began to talk about a full refund of his money and wanted me to sign a contract to pay him back in full for what he had paid meI told him no I am not signing anything like that and that with the addition on the project that I still had over $35,left in the job and that I planned to finish the project in accordance with our contractAt this he became very agitated and that would be the shouting match he was referring to, only he was the one doing the shoutingAt this time I told him I would get the job done and that we would be at the 1/point within a couple weeks and that he would love the way things looked and that I would need another check in accordance with the contract when we reached that pointHe told me that he was not going to give me a check when I reached the 1/pointThis unsettled me and I was not really too sure on how to proceed at that point, This was all new territory for me because I had never had this happen beforeThis was in June and yes I have worked on site since that time but I can not proceed on this job when the homeowner has told me that he would not follow our signed contractI am very thankful for the Revdex.com and look forward to this being resolvedI would be more than happy to finish this project for the homeowner but I need him to commit to the terms of our contractAs far as a refund goes that just does not make sense because I have thousands of dollars wrapped up in this project not to mention the profit I still have left in the job to be completedIf the homeowner is willing to follow the contract we both agreed to then I would love to finish this project the same way as I have completed thousands of other projects since

Our back yard was a mess due to drainage problems and a failing concrete retaining wall Agape Retaining Walls provided a solution that fit our needs, and their estimate was more reasonable than others we received The owner was easy to contact and talk to, and very helpful when explaining the project and progress during the project His crew had to tackle a tough job taking out the old wall, and the new block wall they built in its place looks great I liked the fact that Agape's business concentrates on retaining walls, and not a variety of landscaping services that includes retaining walls Despite the fact that they do not do lawns or fencing, our overall landscaping needs were considered in their retaining wall solution and implementation I highly recommend Agape for any retaining wall projects

*** and his guys did a fantastic job! reccommend Highly

Outstanding job from beginning to clean up after. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough great things about the service we received from Agape. From the start, the excellent layout of their internet site complete with photos and info, to the final finished product of our walls, the service & work ethic of this group of individuals was excellent. The owner was detailed in his explanation of the bid & how they would proceed if we contracted with them. He was patient in explaining what I could not see in my mind's eye & why some aspects of what I wanted wouldn't work well for us. He was present at the job site most days to insure progress & that my expectations were being met. The crew of workers who came every day were dedicated & worked from the moment they arrived till departure. Patient with requests to see what a different approach would look like & in the end what [redacted], the owner, had explained was exactly right for us. The finished walls are beautiful, they left suggestions for planting, & left our yard in pristine condition.

We had a wooden retaining wall in our backyard that started to give, and we wanted something more secure and had better curb appeal. I contacted four or five companies for estimates, and I received a response from [redacted], the president of the company, directly and in a very timely manner. In fact, [redacted] contacted us and kept us informed of progress throughout, and managed to get our project started very quickly after we signed the contract. The primarily lead on the project, [redacted], was incredibly kind and was here bright and early for the slightly longer than week duration of the build, and updated us often on progress, checking to make sure we were happy with the look of the retaining wall and their clean up.

They worked hard to complete the work quickly, were friendly, and we were extremely pleased with the final product. I highly recommend their work, and plan to use their services again if possible.

[redacted] (owner of Agape) met us at our house to walk through our backyard and determine what design was best for us. He patiently answered all our questions. Withinin 3 days of signing, his crew started the wall. The wall was completed in less than a week's time and is absolutely perfect. Agape knows how to build a solid, good looking wall. The estimate was fair and the work exceeded our expectations.

Agape did a wonderful job on our residential retaining wall. They work very hard and are efficient but thorough. The wall supports our entire backyard, and I am confident that it is well-built and very secure. They also did a great job cleaning up at the end of the project. [redacted] and his workers are polite, professional, and a joy to work with.

We had Agape replace two failing railroad tie retaining walls. Sean replied quickly to my request for an estimate and was on site the next day. He evaluated the current walls and gave his expert advice while taking our design and budget requirements into account. He provided a competitive estimate and the project was started a few weeks later due to heavy rain. The project was completed on time and turned out perfect. The team went above and beyond what I expected and kept me updated at every step of the process. If you need a retaining wall, these are the people to work with.
