We were initially working under the assumption that what you were requesting was written in the lease (that we inherited) or an addendum of the lease.  However, after further review of the documents, we could not find any documentation that outlined this.  I am truly sorry if this was promised to you by the former management company or your leasing agent.  If it was, they should have put it in writing and you should have requested that it was part of the lease before signing anything.  All we can do is enforce the legal documents signed between yourself and the former management company (on the behalf of the owner).
