In [redacted] 2014 I bought an [redacted] (digital printer) from [redacted] of ASG (agency system group) based in [redacted] The printer costs [redacted] After 3 months of trouble shooting I was never able to get the printer to work. With much research after it failed, I learned that no one in the textile industry uses the [redacted] in the way I wanted to. [redacted] is a print rep and expert, and he sold me a printer he was not 100% confident would work. I then agreed to exchange the [redacted] for a [redacted] model in [redacted] 2014. We both recognized this is the model used most successfully in the textile industry the way I intended to use it. He also said he could get me a great deal on a printer because of my trouble, which is the reason I decided to exchange instead of return. The total cost of the [redacted] was [redacted] which was supposedly valued at $ [redacted] at the time of purchase. I hired a technician to set-up the [redacted] since troubleshooting the first one proved difficult and I was anxious to get working. When the technician came about a month ago the printer was dead upon arrival. With further research I found out the printer was used and did not have a warranty. In the bill of sale it states that it is new and with a full warranty. Now I am trying to officially return because of this continuous incompetence and fraud. I also found out [redacted] was not even a licensed [redacted] rep, and even if he was he should not have sold out of his east coast territory. Since he was not a [redacted] rep at the time, he bought the printer from a 3rd party [redacted] of [redacted] is based in both ** & [redacted] Both parties have agreed on the phone and written in email form that they will take the printer back. Now it seems like they won't refund me until they resell the printer, which is totally unreasonable and unprofessional. I am a 28 year old woman that invested all of her saving into this printer. This has been both financially and emotionally taxing for me. The customer has notified us that she is keeping the [redacted] printer. I just want to make clear that we both printers we shipped to Ms. [redacted] were in excellent working order and were backed by a factory warranty. In the case of the [redacted] printer, there were some misunderstanding between [redacted] and [redacted] the distributor we purchased the printer from as to who was going to be supplying the warranty services, but this was never an issue that we would be responsible for directly. In any case, Ms. [redacted] has emailed and texted her intention to retain the printer and I have asked her to close this case.[redacted]ASG, LLC
