The business has responded.  Please see below:
Agera Energy purchased [redacted] LLC, the holding company of [redacted] LLC which is the entity that supplied energy to the [redacted]. The customer has a contract for energy supply with energy.me, not Agera. [redacted] makes the representation that he is an authorized representative of the Customer. [redacted] and Agera have not received anything to substantiate that claim. As such, Agera and [redacted] were not able to discuss any customers account with him as we have no evidence he is authorized to their information or to speak on their behalf. The Company considers this matter closed for the following reasons: A complete refund check has been sent to the customer for all NITS charges now being charged by AEP Ohio and the Customers rate has been adjusted downward to reflect the NITS charges now being charged by AEP Ohio. The rate adjustment should appear in the next bill received from AEP Ohio, the rate will have been adjusted down by the amount of NITS charges built into the original rate quoted the customer.

[redacted], the operating company serving the Customer in question, included certain cost components in the rate quoted to the customer, including certain transmission charges. As of June *, 2015, AEP Ohio assumed the responsibility for certain transmission related charges that were previously the responsibility of CRES providers, like [redacted] LLC. Consistent with that change in responsibility, [redacted] LLC has issued a refund check to the affected customer in the AEP Ohio service area. In fact, a refund check was issued on February * for this Customer, two days before this complaint was filed. Agera is committed to resolving all Customer complaints in a timely manner and honoring all the terms of our contracts with customers. Additionally, Agera and [redacted] LLC have no record of ever receiving a communication from the Customer regarding this issue. This Customer issue was resolved in a timely manner.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have attached CSA's (Client Service Agreements) going back to 2014 that prove I am the authorized energy representative for [redacted]. I am also an authorized representative for [redacted] in Dublin, Ohio, and that can be verified by [redacted] CEO, [redacted] ###-###-####.  We also have email documentation proving that we have made repeated attempts at resolving this over-billing issue using the appropriate channels of [redacted] / Agera Energy. The customer did finally receive a check last week from [redacted], however, there were no supporting documents explaining how [redacted] / Agera Energy arrived at the check amount. They did indicate that the customer's bill would also reflect the rate adjustment, which to this date has not yet happened.  I find it telling that while denying there's an issue and being ignorant of the situation, they acknowledge their error by sending a refund check. Per the customer's most recent utility billing from AEP, the adjustment has not yet taken place. Here is what the customer requires from [redacted] / Agera Energy:
- a quantitative explanation of how the refund amount was arrived at and the effective date of the new adjusted rate.
- verification that the check amount covers BOTH of their AEP utility accounts supplied by [redacted] / Agera Energy (there is no explanation given if the check covers both accounts).
We will be watching the next AEP billing cycle closely to determine if the rate adjustment has indeed been applied to Park Tower's electric bills. We will also be looking closely at the quantitative analysis we requested to see if it aligns with the refund amount and the date the new rate kicks in.  Ultimately, our goal has been simply to have EnegyMe / Agera Energy make this right, period.
