It never addressed the fact that they never scheduled any of the driving lessons despite saying multiple times stating that they wouldThey also never addressed the issue of poor customer service & not responding to phone calls or to emails

*** recieved her permit June and I brought it to the class myself on Julyaclass that was purported to be in Billerica but oops the night before now it's being held in Woburn, which I had to spend an hour every morning driving her there, when the Billerica location was minutes from my houseThere is no way to leave a voicemail at the phone number, which rarely is answeredWith my mother in hospice care, I cannot spend hours calling and emailing and checking the online schedule that never has any openingsThis company has a business model issueOn the rare occasion you do get through to someone, you learn that despite what the web site says, they have a limited service area for pick upsThey do not pick up at school in Arlington, yet dont define their service areasSo I cant get *** from Arlington to Billerica at 2:for a lesson when she gets out of school at 2:"***" very nastily informed me that well, they don'tpick up in Rhode Island or New Hampshire but that is not listed on the web siteThis company has taken my money, and should be paying me for my time that I have spent chasing them for what I paid for. Frankly they have me and the other parents over a barrel and they know itThey should be ashamed of how they run their business.

There is no issue. [redacted] needs two more driving lessons. We have 7 different voicemail lines. The statement of you cannot leave a voicemail is not true. As we have received three voicemails from their numbers before. Regarding pickup location; Mrs. [redacted] was upset because we wouldn’t pick up in Arlington and drop off in North Billerica. For our students to travel that route, it does not make for a quality driving lesson. No, we do not list every town we travel to on our website. But we ask you consult with our office. Thank you,Agganis Driving School, Inc.580 Main StreetReading, MA 01867[redacted]

This response from Agganis forwarded to me by Revdex.com is the first communication I have seen at all from Agganis.  Contrary to their response, I have had no emails or phone calls.  I do, however, applaud their offer to allow the lesson to complete the certification process.  This is all I have wanted all along.  [redacted] took the lesson on Saturday, Feb. 4th.  I urge Agganis to send certification to the RMV.  At that point, I will update this complaint as resolved and thank them for making good on their commitment.  Hope to hear from them regarding that to [redacted] or [redacted].  [redacted]

I printed both emails we sent to Mrs. [redacted] proving we have have had a communication with her. But she never responds to us, only responds to Revdex.com. Since then, Mrs. [redacted] ended up calling us on Thursday February 2nd at 4:48pm and booked [redacted]s last driving lesson. We have sent all paperwork to the RMV for him to be certified.

Response:Mrs. [redacted] paid a total of $888.00. (Which $35.00 of that was paid to the RMV.) We have both electronic and paper records showing [redacted] only completed 7 of his 8 driving lessons. Per state law, we cannot certify anyone that has not completed the full 8 lessons. Mrs. [redacted] has not...

been able to provide us with this additional date. We have also offered to her that [redacted] can still complete this last lesson (with no extra charge) and she has yet to respond. We have no emails nor phone calls that have gone unanswered or ignored. Agganis Driving School does not make the decision if we "want" to certify anyone. We have to follow the RMV's state policy.

Response:On December 8th [redacted]'s nephew, [redacted] signed up for a January 2nd license test. The RMV then notified us on December 31st that they removed [redacted] off of our test because his permit number was incorrect. When [redacted] had signed up for his test, he entered the wrong permit number. We...

left a voicemail on December 31st and sent an email to inform them he had been removed. Unfortunately [redacted] was out of the country and did not respond back to us until January 4th. At that time the next available test was January 23rd. The RMV requires that all test sign ups are submitted two weeks in advance. And by that point, [redacted]'s permit would expire the day before on January 22nd. If the correct information was given on the original sign up, we would've had no problem completing lessons and a license test. But because the wrong information was provided, the short time limit with his permit expiring, [redacted] being away, and the RMV's requirements, the situation was out of our hands. We can also provide records of all emails and [redacted]s sign up with the incorrect information. As for the $29.00 fee, we were never asked for a refund. When you sign up it states this is a non-refundable deposit but under the circumstances, we would've been more than happy to issue the money back to [redacted]. At this time, [redacted] has since filed a dispute of the charge (which [redacted] then charges us a fee) and received back her $29.00.
