Customer brought in a red 100% wool jacket on December to be cleanedThe Jacket was dry-cleaned as to the material label garment cleaning instructions and the customer requestCustomer stated that jacket had shrunk and was no longer able to wearWe reinspected the jacket at customer
request but were unable to correct the issue. We have cleaned hundreds of wool garments using proven dry-cleaning equipment over the past years in business and never have we had a item shrink in our care that had not be previously washed or gotten wet prior to having the item in our care. The Item was dry when it was delivered to us and it was never exposed to water or rain prior to Dry-cleaningIf the jacket had not been exposed to water and dryed prior to Dry-cleaning, then we feel that the issue is a defect in the manufacturing of the fabric and should be replaced by the manufacturer or retailerAs a professional Dry-cleaner and Laundry we can not guarantee against color loss or shrinkage if the material care label of the garment is adhered to as stated on all customers claim tickets. This was explained to Customer but to no avail on more than one occasion.
