My family and I went out to dinner on 2/22/14 with a [redacted].com gift card. The certificate was for 50 dollars, but a minimum of 75 was required to be spent. With 4 adults, 1 child and a baby, we ordered WAY more than we needed to, but had to spend $75 to redeem the certificate. We wrote down our order while we were figuring out how to get over $75. We ended up handing a hand written order to our waitress. She read it, verified everyone's order and put the order in. Each person received their food at a different time; we're talking over 10 minutes apart and half of it never came out at all. After an hour and a half, one person in our party still had not received their meal and everyone else was finished. While some of us were eating, the waitress came over and indicated that there was a problem with our [redacted].com certificate code and asked for us to pull it up on the phone and give her the certificate number. We showed her the number on our phone and she came back a few minutes later saying it wasn't valid. The manager then came out and said someone must have hacked our account and stolen our certificate. However, we showed him on our phone where it clearly stated that the certificate was unused. The manager still argued with us and insisted we pay the bill in full and perhaps we should call [redacted].com ourselves. The waitress and the manager were aware that the service they had given was poor and we had ordered extra only because we had the certificate, but stood there and insisted that we pay for everything. We never received 1 lasagna entree, 1 lemonade, 1 smoothie, 2 large sub combos and 2 slices of cheesecake and yet they wanted to charge us for them. After 2 hours with 2 kids up past their bedtime we had to pay and leave.
