We have attached the original invoice stating the charge in the amount of $164.50 for the installation of the hose, with the purpose to also, Reimburse that amount to the owner: totaling the amount of $350.08.Our explanation, to answer this complaint, is as follow:In January, 2017 Tahoe experienced record snow fall and extreme weather conditions causing floods, etc.....We received a call from the customer stating there was water under the house, located at 1464 Glenwood Way, South Lake Tahoe, California. At that time, the customer stated there was an existing pump under the house, and was not working. Pump was not found, upon out inspection. When the technician  arrived, there was obvious amounts of water under the property to the point that it had pushed the bathtub up and out of the floor, over a foot above where it should be, causing a broken drain. It was floating. All the duct work under the home was under water. The crawl space at that time was compromised by the amount of water by the time the technician had arrived. We provided an estimate to pump of the water from the crawl space and replace a sump pump under the home. Due to the amount of water under the home, it took 2 utility pumps and over a week to remove the water, to allow us to start work under the home and install a pump.Once the water was extracted, we installed a new pump and dug a hole under the home to be able to pump from a low spot, as required. We than repaired. We then repaired the broken tub drain and re-set the bath tub. This immediately voids our warranty. Especial, if the pump was removed from the bucket under the home, as stated in the letter.Customer did not have the recommended installation of an outlet by an electrician installed, causing the outlet to the pump to be un-plugged. We, in fact installed the undersized hose to the exterior. Invoice #20530 Clearly  states a charge of $164.50 to install hose to exterior."reaching out to Clark Plumbing " for a charge of $103.32 is too vague to justify if any reimbursement.
