behind but will do our best to build and ship in two weeks. The was not given as a firm promise, nor meant to be a firm promise. We required some components purchased outside to build his steering box, and they were on orderAs it turned out the parts came in and his box was built and shipped prior to his cancellation call, However he received the gear box and claims that it is a defect, upon which he returned itWe just received it yesterday, 10/27/15, (UPS Tracking Number (***), and it is not defective as he has asserted. We have taken a picture of the returned unit to support our caseAt this point, in keeping with our policy of crediting perfectly good returns, if we are to issue a refund, we will deduct a restocking fee as well as the return freight cost that we had to eat of $The refund amount will be: Cost of gear box $ 490.00 Less 25% restock fee $ Return Shipping Cost $ Amount to be refunded $ Please call if I have not made myself clear, and I do have a photo of the return in my possessionRegards, *** *** Executive VP/COO

This company continues to lie As u could see from the pics I had originally sent of output shaft on the steering box agr delivered to me the shaft was machined improperly with deep grooves that compromised the output shaft and adjoining parts that conect to the shaft Once I received the steering box I immediately took the box to the shop that was installing the box and they informed me that they would not be able to install the box as it was damaged on the splines from the manufacturer and was not highway safe This shop is department of transportation government inspection certified inspection shop and can be contacted or looked up on the dot website I have attached a letter from said shop stating the box is not instalable I have not accepted agr subtracted refund because the offer is unacceptable and I'mNot paying almost 200$ for a defective poorly made mechanical part which I do not even have in my possession anymore I want a full refund as I was just a consumer trying to buy a product from this company which misrepresented it's product and sent an unsatisfactory and unsafe part. The customer Brian *** purchased a steering gear assembly form M-B Motorsports on 6-12-The product was shipped to him on 11-23-I purchased the assets that used to belong to MB-Motorsports from their bank that repossessed the assets for delinquent paymentsMy company Steerco purchased
the seized assets on December 15thAt some time after December 15th Brian *** claimed he had a defective product and wanted his money backI explained to Mr*** that I could not refund his money and that he did not purchase the product from my company, nor did he pay my company for that product Mr*** said he would do a charge back on his credit card which I responded by saying, “he could and that wouldn’t bother me either way because I have nothing to do with M-B Motorsprots” Mr *** then sent the product to my company, “Steerco”After inspecting the product I found that the product was DAMAGED, not bad… Whether it was Mr*** himself or the shop that performed the install performed a damaging adjustmentThe inside of the product was damaged and even though it was damaged I performed the repair as a goodwill gesture and sent Mr*** back his product… Mr***’s product was sent to him on 02-03-via tracking number *** Mr*** did not pay me or my company to begin with so I didn’t feel it was right for me to keep the productI only felt that if I performed the repair to the product at no charge it might show him that my company was friendly…

The previous offer to do a partial refund to Mr*** stiU standsAGR Performancehas an engineer on staff that personally examined the returned part and found no issuesThecustomer has never before mentioned his mechanics concernsWe wish it noted that a shoplicensed to do vehicle inspections is not a steering specialistWe offer technical support for allcustomers and we welcome questions, comments and concerns from all customers and theirmechanicsWe stand by the product that was sentWe respect that his mechanic may havebelieved it was defective, but value the expert opinion of our engineer with over years ofexperience in the field.As stated in the previous response we do not keep credit card numbers on fileWe willprocess the refund for $as soon as Mr*** calls and provides us the with the creditcard number for the card he would like to have it refunded onWe are in no way trying to cheatMr*** as he seemsto believe, but we cannot give a full refund for an item that wasreturned without just cause

I reject this offer of partial refund and demand a full refund. The mechanic shop that inspected the part supplied by agr is a government certified department of transportation inspection facility and deemed the steering box supplies by agr as not highway safe.  As the response indicated that agr is standing by it's product that it's "engineers" feels that it's acceptable is meaningless as I had the steering box inspected by an unbiased accredited government certified department of transportation inspection facility! I am not a mechanic so I only go by what I can see and take the advice of a certified professional. Please issue a full refund as the item was damaged and unacceptable. Revdex.com:

My original purchase in June 2015 as is indicated on my credit card statement was with AGR Performance.  The website I originally accessed to find the steering box was AGR Performance.  The telephone calls I made were answered by AGR Performance personnel.  These were the same people who provided direction to modify the inlet port and make what were ultimately useless adjustments to a steering box that had been damaged or incorrectly assembled prior to delivery.

We have been in contact with himseveral times in the past few weeks and have agreed to refund a portion of his purchase price.Mr. [redacted] is claiming there is a defect in the product, when there is none. When he firstcalled to return it, we paid the return shipping thinking it was a warranty issue.When the item was returned we inspected and tested it. It was found to be in fullyfunctioning order with no strength issues. Mr. [redacted] does not seem to understand themanufacturing process or that nothing was done to weaken or damage the product. Due to thefact that the item was returned without cause we are deducting the 20% restocking fee and thecost of the return shipping. Mr. [redacted] claims to have notreceived a part of his order, so wehave agreed to refund him the full cost of that item at $35.A breakdown of the return is below:Cost of Gear box $ 490.00Pitman Arm refund $ 35.00Restocking fee(20%)Return Shipping feeRefund$ (98.00)$ (42.46)$ 384.54The last time our office was in contact With Mr. [redacted], on 11/06/2015, we informedhim of his refund amount. He was told by Meagan at our office that he would need to providethe credit card number to refund the $384.54. He stated he would call back with the numberand has yet to do that.The defect he claims to be due to poor machining does not affect the performance of the part inany way and is purely cosmetic. We do not give full refunds because the items are notaesthetically pleasing. Our products are manufactured for performance not looks.Mr. [redacted] claims we are denying him his refund, and that is simply untrue .. We are morethan willing to refund the amount shown above, but cannot do so until he provides the creditcard he wants the refund applied to.
