Roofing tin was delivered in August, 2018, several months after the May 24, 2018 purchase. The roofing tin was wrapped in plastic. It was delivered by AGRI of Virginia. When the packaging was opened I discovered white rust on the tin. In October, 2018; and again in May, 2019; and again in July if 2019, I lodged complaints with AGRI. They have not followed up or even looked at the roof.
Metal was delivered to customer approximately 30 days after the May 24,2019 order date and placed under a carport with open ends. Metal was wrapped in factory packaging when delivered to customer Customer came in the end of September/first of October 2019 and said that the metal had rust on it when plastic was taken off but he had installed it anyway.Corrosion due to improper storage at customer's location from date of delivery to jobsite to installation date.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and my complaint is not resolved. Details below:The roofing was delivered completely wrapped in sealed plastic. It was stored elevated on 2x4 and covered with canvas. One end of the carport is backed by a shed — the roofing was against the shed. We were told by the delivery person that the roofing would be fine whenever we decided to use it.I did not realize that it was rust on the tin when it was put up on the roof. I thought it may have been some agent used to prevent the pieces from sticking together in the packaging. Agra promised to look at the roofing last October, May and again this July. No one has ever come by.
Regards
