After we did insulation and sheet-rocking in the house, there was a large crack right down the middle of the buildingLarger than should be
The foundation is built up on "chicken house" dirt, our driveway of sandstone, no water and compacted with a BobcatThis was built up 7' to 10' and posts are only 3'6" into the ground, holding up a metal structureThis was done by Mr*** *** who was hired by MrBates
The concrete was supposed to have a "turn down" footer in both buildingsThe house only has 3/of a footerThe back door was shimmed June, July and August In September, MrBates came and told us the door was hung up wrong and he would have someone out right awayNo one has shown up yet and it's September As of today, September 21, 2018, three of the four doors are stuck, sheet rock is cracking in different areas throughout and the concrete has fallen 4" with no end in site (Reports from different engineering companies) MrBates wanted us to give up our warranty in BOTH buildings to have a company come in and do a temporary fix that is only good for one yearWe declined
We've paid cash for a home and we are now living in our RV looking at their mistake every day*The garage is perfect but we don't want to live in our garage!
