Harbor, Washington, that isno way connected with our dealership.Mr*** brought his piece of equipment into our store requesting warranty repair and explaining theissues it was havingWe informed him that the issues were consistent with operating the equipmentwith the safety chain brake in the locked on positionThis causes overheating or burning of the clutchand plastic components around the clutch areaThis is not a manufacturer defect but an operationaloneSince Mr*** did not purchase his equipment from our store we have no knowledge of howthe saw was demonstrated or operated before he brought it to our facilityWe could only state thatthere were no manufacturer defects that would cause the failureMr*** has since contacted StihlNorthwest, the factory distributor, and has reached an agreement with them and the issue has beenresolved.Thank youDarren J*** President
