Review: After giving the Contracting Company a $1,500 deposit on May 14, 2015 (deposited the next day), they never showed to do the job. There were several promised start dates, but the project was never begun. We've made repeated requests over the past month for a refund, but have not received it.Desired Settlement: We want a full and immediate refund of $1,500. AND the return of our sample brick

Review: Andreas P[redacted], the owner of the company was contracted in April 2015 to complete sidewalk repair of 5 slabs at our new home as required by the Certificate of Occupancy of our Boro. As per the request of our Lender, Mr. P[redacted] was paid in full for the job at the time of the closing procedures. He completed three of the five slabs but then there was an unexpected delay from the town tree service to address the tree roots causing the issue. After the tree was removed, we were unable to get Mr. P[redacted] back to complete the two remaining sidewalk slabs. He had already at that point removed the broken pads and so we were left with open sidewalks, a major liability for us. He made repeated promises via email and text messages of dates he would come by to complete the project but never followed through. He even made intermittent contact with the attorney who completed our closing procedures promising to come and complete the project but never did. After 3 months of multiple attempts to get him back to complete the project, we were forced to hire a new contractor to complete the work. Since Mr. P[redacted] was already paid for the complete job, we had to incur the additional expense to finish the sidewalk. In an email conversation with our attorney in September 2015, he offered to refund the remaining balance for the work he did not complete, but to this date he has still not sent the monies. We are owed $560 for the 2 remaining sidewalk slabs which he did not complete.Desired Settlement: Refund of $560
