We were called by Ms*** *** (the mother of the complainant) for a plugged bathtub drainWe sent our service plumber (***) who has been with us working service for almost yearsHe attempted to clear the drain several times with a sink machineHe ended up rodding through the overflow
on the tub and the cable broke through a part of tubular portion of the tub drainWhen this broke open the water that was in the tub ended up going through the ceiling of the first floorOur plumber went downstairs and started to clean up the water and Ms*** told him that she would take care of itThere were some ceiling tiles that were damaged and Ms***'s son said that he would take care of thoseWe repaired the tub drain and have since offered to pay for any ceiling tiles that may need to be replacedWe will also give 1-1/hours credit on the invoiceThis damage was in no way due to negiligence on our partWe had the situation under control and had communicated with the owner and her sonThe complainant got involved as a third party with no knowledge as to what was happening.We have been in contact with her and were under the impression that she was going to retract this complaint
