I'm always a little leery of someone who stops by my farm to solicit work, especially if they have an out of state license plate on their truck (I live in Lexington, they are from Ohio) However, I had an old tree hanging over part of my house that I knew needed to be removed, so I decided to get a quote to remove it After we agreed to a very fair price Tony and his crew got right to work on the tree, even though it was already mid afternoon The climber was very skillful and a joy t watch, the crew was pleasant, and everyone worked hard Since it got dark about 5:I told Tony they could come back in the morning to finish, but they wanted to get it done for me the same day These guys busted their tails and worked until after 8:00, cleaned up everything, hauled everything to my burn pile, all while keeping a smile on their faces Needless to say, I was very pleased and would recommend them in a heartbeat
Excellent work, got scheduled right away and done for considerably less cost then anticipated for the amount of work I needed doneWill definitely call them again should more work ever be needed
Tony, James and the crew from Big Tree Service did a really great job They were here when they said they would be and brought down dead ash trees in about hrs time I believe James gave me a very fair price and they cut up the trees and left me the wood piled up next to the stump like I requested I would have them back to help me out again when the time comesThanks!

On Sept16, Tony Eresponded within minutes of requesting a quote via text messageHe arrived at our home within an hour of his first phone call to us, examined each tree we wanted cut, then gave his quote and produced a document showing he was currently insuredThe quote was fair for dropping large ash trees, topping two others and dropping and then moving two large dead spruces into our nearby woods in Sugarcreek Township, Greene CountyWe immediately struck an agreement, and Tony and his crew came out the next day and began the two-day jobThey worked hardOne of the trees was near electrical lines, and they were careful first to trim off the high limbs before they dropped the huge trunk away from the line and into our woodsOn Sept18, our neighbors were so impressed, that they hired Big Wood to drop three trees on their property immediately after they finished work on our propertyTony and his crew were polite, responsive and focused on satisfying their customers

On 4/10/I had Big Wood Tree Service top a dead ash tree,trim a large oak tree and removed a large accumulation of yard waste and fallen tree branches The did exactly what they agreed to do and did a good job Their climber who did the tree trimming was one of the better ones I have hired They completely clean up when they were done

Owner came by to do a free quote Price quote was given with the expectation that the job would be completed that day Owner Tony took another job before mine which pushed my job back to Monday Took time out of my day to accommodate an 12-arrive time First working arrived at 1:but didn't have the needed gear to start the job The rest of the team arrived around They assessed the tree again and decided that the job was going to be too big to complete today Owner Tony left to have his working explain to me that they couldn't do the job and it would have to be pushed back by at least a month I requested the owner to stop by before they left as they were doing a job across the street Hours later still haven't heard from Tony I called him only to be told that he misquoted the tree and that if I still wanted the tree to be removed it would be an additional $ Very disappointed in this very poorly managed and executed business
Big Wood Tree Service knocked on my door (in Columbus OH) and finally provided me with a reasonable quote for taking down my dead Ash tree. Tony and crew were fast, capable, and efficient. My dead tree and any remnants were gone within an hour. I would highly recommend their services.
