In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint, let me address all of his issues.
In regards to paying an “incredible amount of money”, these are custom made acrylic cases per Mr. [redacted] specifications. In March 2015 Mr. [redacted] had ordered the same type of case and paid $410.00 each. The 2nd order...
was quoted on August 31 2015 and the price quoted was $276.00 each. The price reduction was based on the fact that we had produced these displays before.
In regards to the order being late, this is an untrue statement. The parts were quoted on August 31st of 2015. The order was actually placed by Mr. [redacted] on September 2nd, 2015. Mr. [redacted] was quoted a lead-time of 4-5 weeks which would have placed the due date around October 15th. Part of the order was complete on October 15th with the balance complete on October 22nd. Mr. [redacted] was advised that his order was complete on October 15th, which he picked up on December 8th, 2015 some 50 days later.
[redacted] (A.I.A. Salesperson) was advised via a phone call on Saturday January 30th that the sliding doors on a case would not slide properly. [redacted] advised Mr. [redacted] that AIA Plastics, Inc. would be glad to repair the units. Being unsure of the conditions the cases had been stored in for the previous two months, this seemed to be a fair offer from AIA Plastics, Inc. Mr. [redacted] then called back moments later stating that he wanted a refund. Being that it was the weekend, [redacted] waited until Monday morning February 1st to respond to the request for a refund. [redacted] emailed Mr. [redacted] at 8:24am on February 1st advising Mr. [redacted] that AIA Plastics, Inc. is open M-F 7am to 5pm if he would like to drop off the case and we would adjust the door so it would slide properly and that a refund was not an option being that the cases are a custom made item.
AIA Plastics, Inc. never heard anything more from Mr. [redacted] until we got the letter from the Revdex.com.
Due to the fact that Mr. [redacted] had possession of the cases for nearly two months before letting us know of a potential issue, fixing the door was the best option. AIA Plastics, Inc. has paperwork to back up all of our statements above, if required.
