Was charged $170 a month for my mailbox rental when our written contract states $45. Employees refuse to let you speak to a manager and flat out laugh at you for trying to get something resolved. I have called dozens of times and they routinely don't answer their phones and when they do- they cannot speak even basic English. Rudest customer service I have ever encountered. Fraud business- stay far far away.
Review: I have had a business rental mailbox the last several months at AIE business services. The contractual agreement was for $45 a month.
For the month of December I was charged for a total of $170 in three different installations. Twice on Dec [redacted] for $27 and $45 respectively and once on Dec [redacted] for $98. When I called to dispute this I was told nothing could be done. I asked to speak to a manager and the employees merely passed the phone around to each other and were EXTREMELY rude. They refused to let me speak to the woman I spoke to when I set up my mailbox (Julia I believe her name is) after repeatedly calling and asking.
It has gotten to the point where my phone calls regularly go unanswered. When I do speak with them they tell me there is no problem or no issue. They cannot understand even basic English so communicating with them is impossible.
One told me that I was being underbilled for prior months and now I must make up the difference. If that is the case, this was through no fault of my own. I signed up to pay no more than $45 a month and if a mistake was made on AIE's end then someone should just be fired (all of them) so it doesn't happen again.
If my business cards did not already have my mailbox address on it I would close my mailbox immediately given how rude the staff is and how unwilling they are to help. The last 4 times I have called they have told me to call back tomorrow, or there is no issue. I have NEVER seen such terrible customer service in my life. This is not how business is done in America. If I do not get a refund in the amount of $125 I will be notifying the Attorney General of the State of New York regarding this fraud as well as filing a claim in small claims court.
This is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: A refund of $125 and an apology.
